Chaos Shuffle = Tunneling Chaos
I played 10 games and in every game every killer just tryhard ultratunneling beasts and survivors without perks can do nothing against it.
What about to give survivors DS in this mode?

Do you know if all addons can be optained as killer even the meme ones that are terrible, because i only read somewhere that trapper can get padded jaws but Idk about other addons such as those on chainsaw killers that dissable instadown??

It's the combo of random perks and random items. It's impossible to play against apparently.

this is the difference between survivor and killer. As a horror game, what sounds more appropriate:
- survivors struggle to survive and escape while hunted by a lethal killer
- lethal killer struggles to kill before survivors escape.
survivor should be harder, killer should be easier. Anyone picking survivor role should understand this and accept this role for what it is.

Because the game is in such a great state right now to warrant this. I love seeing a defenseless sable get tunneled at 5 gens because she was merely existing as i face the 52th ghoul this week.
Man, survivors are so greedy to have their games be more than just that cycle, im sure nerfing them more will do justice, it clearly worked last year and made everyone have fun with eachother!. /J

If only you didnt need a tausend plus hours just to even get the basics memorized because of the many maps, tiles, layout, perks, addons, killer powers there is.
Compared to killer where, sure you struggle to use your power, but them killers like kaneki exist, that you barely even need to learn how to effectively play him.
You dont want to pay to play a killer?, dont worry!, you got killers like blight and nurse who barely need any experince to get good (or running aura/anti-loop loadout to make it an auto-pilot).
But im sure requiring survivors more hours and pratice will benefit from the game...and im sure killers wont be whining for more nerfs and "requiring more experince" even if most people knowing about this will just rather play something else entirely.

Stop rushing gens, so killers dont have to. Killers can't run meta… u know that thing that keeps the game somewhat balanced, so the killer actually has time to do some off-target chases…
Yeh so… just chillax a bit on those gens, stop hiding, take chases. Stop bringing in meta medkits that take away all the pressure etc etc etc. Believe it or not, unless you are going against S tier killers, survivors actually have the advantage in this mode. So stop complaining.

you dont need many hours to play survivor. to win, maybe but thats the point. survivors should struggle, the game is designed around survivors dying where there could be maybe 1 or 2 to escape. the issue is people expect to play survivor with no experience at all, not struggle and still be able to win v a lethal killer.
as far as S tier killers go, they may be an issue but its an issue caused by SWF. There is a reason why S tier killers are more prominent in the top MMR, They are needed to counter the top SWF teams with swat team coordination and comms. Cant have it both ways, give SWF teams comms which solo dont have and you have to have killers that can compete against them, the result it these killers can be OP v soloq players that dont have the same coordination or comms. There will never be true balance while soloq is denied what SWF has.
Nurse takes barely any experience to get good? Flat out incorrect, nurse is well known to be very OP but takes a lot of time to master.

Eh the modes already objectively survivor sided when you play as most of the killer roster so I get why those specific killers tunnel. Killer with weak perks will ALWAYS be worse than survivor with weak perks which is what happens most games.

People love to bring up the "horror" aspect of the game, but only when it would benefit the killer or defend the killer sided 60% kill rate.
Because there's absolutely a horror trope where the survivors, or just the "final girl," kill the killer at the end. In fact, several of the killers in this game have that ending: Xeno, Ghostie, and Nemesis right off the top of my head.
Everyone wants the resident evil rocket launcher, but canonically we'd give it to Leon.
At some point, the "video game" aspect overrides the "it's horror" part.
Most people understand that giving the survivors the ability to kill the killer would probably not be great for gameplay, yet people still want (or expect) to 3k or 4k every match because "it's the horror theme".

3 or 4k every match? no. 3 or 4k most matches? yes. as survivor i want to struggle to survive, as killer i dont want to struggle to get a kill. What i dont want is to be able to win as survivor and see 4 man out being a thing, what i dont want to play killer and struggle to get a kill. This is an asymmetrical horror game, like it or not thats what it is. so its reasonable to apply logic that connects these 2 things. horror being survivors struggle to survive, have a fear of actually dying….asymmetrical being both sides are not equal. yet some people want both sides to be equal and have equal chance of winning

Yeah the problem with Chaos Shuffle is there's no protections from the cheese from both sides

Can't tell the difference between it and regular. Only diff is they don't get punished with anti tunnel here.

It's a bad argument for a PVP game. You could go in circles about it forever too. Who wants to see a horror movie where nobody fights back? Survivors can't really foil the Killer or trick them beyond vaulting and shining a flashlight at them. More and more over time, DBD operates more like a slasher where no one survives.
Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see it turn around. My point is that incentives are a total waste of time and don't work.

I've only played survivor so far in CS and the killers have been fine. It's my brain-dead team mates leaving me on hook or 95% the exit gate and getting everyone killed

This comes up every time this mode comes out.
The game is balanced around killers taking at least 1-2 gen defense perks. If you play a mode that actively doesn't let you do that, the killers need to do something to even up the odds.

Chaos Shuffle is garbage.
Survivors are put at a severe disadvantage while try hard killers just stomp regardless of their perks.
Tunnel at 5 gen, slug for 4k, proxy camp. Rinse repeat ad nausium.
Boring try hards have zero skill.
3 of 5 games the killer was cheating as well.
100% of the time, if you can't type in chat, someone is cheating.1 -
i mean a killer (that doesnt have mobility) needs to tunnel if they didnt get any gen regression perks otherwise gen speeds just arent doable

We can do something about it. I got tunneled twice. First time against a Krasue. I looped "well" and we reached 2 gens, when i died. And i was pissed. No survivor helped me. They all ran away and didnt bodyblock. Non-infected against a Krasue...
Second time it was a Wesker. I played badly and he got a quick down on me after my teammate looped him very well. Then he got a second down on me, but one mate helped already. Still 3 gens to go. On my last chase suddenly the entire team helped me. Every time i run through a door a teammate blocked the killer and i could make distance. After a while i was so far ahead, i just slow walked into a corner and he never found me again. But he had already wasted too much time and it was the last gen anyway.

I played one game with 2 of my friends (3 man swf) and least experienced friend got tunneled out.
We even had and used shoulder the burden on him.All this after waiting 4-5 minutes for the game.
After this one match we moved on to another game.
It's actually sad because it is my favourite game mode

It also equals blind party. Most of my matches have been 3 or 4 flashlights every round.
Tunneling is frustrating I get it but so is being blinded at every corner, turn, pallet, pickup, vault and stun.

The biggest killer in DBD are your teammates thats my experience from DBD because you expect the killer to get you its his job but your teammates letting you die or sandbagging you when its not needed (they need to drop killer from them because they are dead on hook and you arent so I get this, usualy they brought killer to me when they have beed hooked once or even wasnt been hooked and Im ded on hook tbh).

This is why the crying about gen speeds is bs. You have a mode where survivors can't bring commodious toolboxes with meta add-ons or gen speed boosting perks and the camping and tunneling are still rampant. Nothing other players do will change these people. It's the game that needs to change.

Sure, people who are trying to win are going to use the strategies they think are best for doing that. But in my experience playing survivor not EVERY game is tunneling. I was responding to OP stating that every single game they have played has tunneling, providing an example as to why they might be seeing an increase in the amount of tunneling happening.

Yeah explain it to these megheads and sables that go from hook to bodyblock me when Im going for other survivor and than have pikachu face when I go for them after i hit them and scream he is tunneling, I love this hypocrisy.

This says to me that the base gen speed is too fast, when survivors dont have anything to boost gen speeds and killers dont have anything to slow gens down its pretty much all on basekit terms, so if killers still feel they need to tunnel it says a lot about the need for slowing down gens.

They're doing it without gens even getting done. It's automatic. Some people have crutched on this so hard for so long they don't know any other way to play. And 90s is an eternity. If you can't maintain pressure with those long times that's on you.

its called pre-emptive strike, tunnel sooner rather than later, maybe because they know what will happen if they dont? you can say its a crutch but its no different than anything else someone relies on to win, be it perks, tactics, teams, maps even. Even if people have "crutched" on it for so long they dont know any other way to play, to change it now would probably mean so many people wouldnt know how to play…kill rates would likely drop…people would likely leave the game. I think its at the point where this is the game, people tunnel, people loop, people stealth, people camp, people slug, people body block. Taking the attitude of "if you cant maintain pressure in the timeframe thats given thats on you", people can say they same….if you cant counter tunneling then thats on you.
