The votes are in from the Community!
12,000 people have voted 🗳️ (For the overall performance of 2025)
I think this poll was a little harsh because the game hasn’t always been in this “state” that it’s in now..however I have highlighted the “No” votes and then dug through the feedback to see why. I did not vote but if I were to I would say “Kinda” Dbd has had some amazing moments! Then some not so good ones..
While I enjoy and love the work behavior puts in, truly! The focus that everyone has been talking about in this particular voting poll is “Bug Fixes”
“We just want a working game. That’s it. Nothing more. Nothing less. Nobody is or was asking for anything else. Just bug fixes. Killer fixes. So hopefully we are going to be able to put more focus into that this year. “
Please 🙏🏼 from the community to the dev team…We just want bug fixes and killer bug fixes.

I mean they did have a healtv operation that allegedly wont even be active until 2028 due to their rushed work scedule.
3 -
I think that they should continue with a reduced release schedule. 3 full chapters per year are enough.
9 -
I don't think they would stick to 3 chapters. They will be losing money on that.

no I do t believe the should many points of the year have felt very dull and milked dry. Krasue release, the bug fix a few months ago. The game was in a very boring state.
2 -
Maybe, but the game can’t handle all the new content. The devs are struggling to keep up with the fixes. They seem to be very limited on bandwidth when it comes to this. Hence the reduction of content to catch up in fixes, which is what needs to happen.
BHVR has to focus on this. It’s an eye sore and the community is being very vocal about it. For a while actually. We’re not asking for miracles. Just fixes. It’s to deep clean the game. Healthy game is all we want4 -
3 releases per year the player base would get bored.

This content has been removed.

Not if it were accompanied by meaningful and positive balance changes to the game. Something that we barely did get in 2025.
3 -
Even then just because its balanced doesn't mean its fun. No new content means rehashing the same thing and although some have their dedicated mains they go back to a lot will want new content to try to keep them interested in the game.

new stuff like the fog vials got me excited to play again. then the nerfs made me go back to rivals.
we don't need dlc but it seems nobody is interested in retention. Just consume the newslop and get out, see you in 3 months.

Not if they filled the gaps with other stuff. More modifiers, blood feasts, special quests with special cosmetics etc.

I wonder how much this poll stacks up against the quarterly surveys, I mean it looks like a youtube poll and I never saw it.
I wonder how many people of those 12.000 actually play the game vs. not.ALSO
We just want a working game. That’s it. Nothing more. Nothing less.
My guy the game is already functional, people need to stop vague posting about what problems they think the game has and actually be specific, it will help the developers much much much more. Example is how often I see people straight up refuse to bug report things and then complain its not getting fixed. And my brother, when people submit a bug without steps to reproduce what do you actually expect BHVR to do???

they did basically promise us to fix slugging and tunneling only to back off because they cant handle changing the core mechanic.
so now you got both sides pissed because killers didnt get survivors to be nerfed hard enough to win every game
survivors are pissed becaus the promise they made 9 months ago was left discarded even though they easily could let the anti-slug feature in. this wouldnt have done any buffs to "bully squads" while combating against killers who excessively slug over and over to multiple people when they really dont need to.1 -
I’ve been extremely specific on previous post over the last year. I am not sure I can get more specific.
I personally have made several bug reports with details, screenshots, videos of how to duplicate said bugs. Still takes months on months to years to get fixed. The community is frustrated. Now we have a brand new 3rd party site while I am sure more effective, a lot of people on the forums have mentioned they will not be submitting reports due to extra log in steps and all the work it takes to fill out the report. You might as well get a paystub at that point.
However, I still go through all of that to help. I do my part. It’s not my job by any means but here I am…going through a headache to help out where I can in light of it.1 -
I'm not pointing fingers at you, your bug reports might be flawless, but there is a lot of them that serve nothing more than a vague hint that a bug exists, which isn't going to help getting it fixed.
And the problem with vague posting, with the message you specifically posted is that the game works fine, people just wont admit it does and prefer to talk about the game like its broken and doesnt work, when it objectively does.

To be clear, I am pointing out that the poll is harsh. Does BHVR have a lot to work on with the game? Oh yes. Very much so. Killers need a lot of help and love. Too many bugs with them that need fixing.

and I am pointing out that fixing all those issues does not start with a poll, it starts with clear and good bug reports and ideas that can actually convince the developers and that can be implenented.
-2 -
I understand and while I agree, the community has been helping with bug reports as well as detailed feedback for sometime. I believe the community needs to be heard more often BHVR. A poll is just a means to get a point across. “Could BHVR do a lot better with cleaning up the game in regards to issues that have been talked about more than family gossip on a thanksgiving dinner? Yes…yes they could.”
I get where you are coming from though.
