FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NERF THE FIRST
I cannot believe Behavior let The First out of PBT server that powerful. I have played at least 5 out of 10 games where all four survivors couldn't get even a single gen or totem cleansed, he is way to strong. NERF HIM. The game is not fun when you go against him< it is annoying and you just give up
It is ok if you disagree, keep it to yourself. i don't want to hear it. if your here to just complain at me about how im wrong….again I dint care keep it to yourself

Why post on a public forum if you dont want to have a discussion? This just reads as a vent post

Posts on a public discussion forum.
Forbids public discussion. Hmmmm
Well, since you don't really have the power to control discussion, I think I'll comment.
He's definitely quite strong. Had a wonderful time playing last night with folks. I wouldn't call him uncounterable though. I treat him like I treat Nurse. LoS blockers, funky movement, and the knowledge that there aren't any safe areas.
Looping him isn't really a thing, and I like that. Your success against him isn't tied to RNG. He's slow, and his Undergate attack is fairly easily dodged. He can spam to a degree, but he's got to hit you at least once to put you into World breaker.
Limit world breaker. Do the clocks, and don't be stupid in that mode, no risks.

Why do you think he is OP?

The only aspect of the first that seems unfair is likely also just a bug. That's where his m2 attack can hit you even if you're on the floor above him.
Again, that doesn't seem to be intended and will likely be bug fixed, but that is the only real issue I've seen so far.
Although, he's pretty good at shutting down a loop entirely, which means the only actual counter is the dreaded "hold w". I don't personally find that problematic either, but it seems to trigger a number of people here that survivors aren't just running face-first into every anti loop killer they release.

Just the time for doom post like that ones when springtrap came into hame there were posts like “springtrap is new ghoul”.
By seeing the autor has two posts I guess he lost few games against new killer that isnt set in (his best counterplay is in discovery) and has to make rage post.

Let's keep the post on topic, we can move on from the discussion of not wanting comments. Thank you!

This was my biggest takeaway playing against him yesterday. He downed me and then immediately downed someone on the floor above. It's crazy to be able to do that without budging.

ghoul is still solid, yes. The First is strong, high A Tier at least. But thats a marketing decision for sure.

People aren't going to have a good time when players become good at this killer. I think the power design a little problematic.
Yes, he's slow, but his power is so quick to trigger that you zone for free. If you're dodging on the audio cue, you're going to get hit. This is 4.4 Nurse without a blink fatigue. And it's not quite like PH because there's a clear lock in and delay on his ranged attack. This just appears.

i wasn't saying I didn't want to have a discussion. I am saying the people who troll and complain back just to start arguments is what I don't care to hear. Sorry for the confusion

saying things like "keep your opinions to yourself" makes me wonder if you're keeping an open mind and actively wanting to learn and develop counterplay. idk, that doesn't seem like an attitude conducive towards personal growth

I agree he can be quite powerful given what he can do. But you know the devs need to give the streamers their kill streaks then they nerf.
1 -
Yea im really shocked people aren't figuring this out yet. They're going to hate him within a week or two.
3 -
Definitely not S tier. His power cant even down you. He's only good for his mobility as well. He doesnt need nerfs. Dont believe me put time into playing him until you go against good survivors. Only bot survivors think hes op

Skully got butchered.
Kaneki is more than fine.1 -
I would say both options are possible.
Either Henry players become good and demolish everything, which is unlikely considering it didn't happen with Nurse…
Or survivors learn how to play against him and we will have The Harmless situation again. Most realistic is same outcome as any high skill ceiling killers. Some players are going to dominate their lobbies, but majority of player base struggling to make them work.

So we've entered the "he's Nurse but that's a good thing" phase?

A lot of his issues could be solved if they get rid of the input buffering on his ranged attack. There are supposed to be 2 separate audio cues, but you only get the high pitched one if someone buffers the attack

One issue i have is that a lot of the times you get while not being inside the hitmarkers, even while fully healed
4 -
i think this is mostly a ping issue, its just a lot more noticable when there is a glowing ring you're just outside of and you start noticing it at a lower latency then usual. He definitely warrants a fresh look at how the game handles latency.
I am having fun facing him now but I'm starting to agree that he will likely need some nerfs once we start seeing killers actually get good with him, I doubt most will get good so I still expect they will be minor, especially if we do end up getting proper anti tunnel. He is way too easy to tunnel with, your team can't really help at all unless you happen to be on a map they can block a full corridor on.

He is pretty similar to Nurse for sure, but I think he is weaker than her.
Point is, if DBD players didn't manage to learn Nurse to level where her kill rate is above everyone else, it's unlikely to happen with The First.
