Tried to get a new player in for this free weekend and get them to buy the game BUT WEVE TO WAIT 20 MINUTES FOR A GAME
He’s just told me to ######### off there’s no way he’d ever buy the game now
I’m sure that’s not the plan of a free weekend is it ?

The developers just dropped two new DLCs (Demise of the Faithful and Ash's Evil Dead) and they're hoping that the free users will gobble it all up. They don't really care about the new players otherwise. They already don't care what we (the current player-base) are saying anyway.
