I remember @Cheers as a pretty chill dude, especially when I ran into him in a few matches I think around Pyramid Head's release. He passed on a few years ago, but I remember the impact he had on people around here. There are so many great users left to mention, especially ones that aren't here anymore, but I wanted to give a little spotlight to someone whose memory I once made a promise to uphold.
Rest in peace man, hope to meet you out there in the fog again someday.

- Thanks for mentioning me... I don't remember anyone, I'm 47 and have a terrible memory.🤣 I obviously read the content, but I rarely pay attention to who wrote it. I only remember well UnicornMedal because his nickname is very funny, another user whose image is Vittorio, with whom I often agree, and then a user whose image is Nancy, who is very kind and always announces new products or promotional codes.
Edit: I think the user I was talking about (Vittorio) is called @Firellius

The other Vittorio I can think of has to be @Firellius, and of course the Nancy one is @CountOfTheFog
I genuinely miss the universal codes though, as all we get nowadays are cryptic personal ones.

I mentioned Orion, just didn't tag because lazy. The reasons you listed are exactly why I did. There's a handful of moments I remember perfectly on this forum, the day he decided he wasn't going to be part of the DBD community anymore is one of them.

I thought when he said he was leaving it was a "haha OK, see you next week" thing but nope.
I remember seeing even BHVR devs surprised about the NFTs and against it. No part of that decision was a good decision, and they lost atleast one dedicated player for good from it.

NFTs are one of the things I'm glad no one talks about anymore.

a lot of interesting conversations have popped up over the years and ive always been happy to read or participate in them. glad to see the folks that contributed for so long get a light shined on them like they deserve :]

Being this has gotten a bit into people who haven't posted in a while.
They weren't the most frequent commenter, but I miss @zarr - it helped to have someone who made my comments look short by comparison.

That's very kind of you to say, but I don't feel like I've been here long enough or really contributed often enough. I'll always feel like a newbie compared to the old heads still hanging around here!
That said, I'd still like to give a shout out to the regulars, to the occasional posters (and yes, to the fallen heroes and villains of the past o7) who've made coming here worth the visit over the years. I've always enjoyed discussing DBD and reading everyone's takes. You guys are real ones for that.

For legendary I'd say @Mooks they have always been helping others from what I've seen whenever I've been on here.
There was also one person who always shared their artwork (mostly of Spirit), they should be on here as well, but I can't for the life of me remember their name.
