What are they thinking?!
- Secret Project
- When a totem is blessed or cleansed, block a random unblocked generator for 20/25/30 seconds.
- When 1 or more generators become blocked, you gain Undetectable for 30/30/30 seconds.
I thought they would change this perk after PTB, but of course not.
I mean, what a perfect way to kill a side goal for the survivors and make them focus more on the generators!
And why do they have to kill Boon totems again? At least they could have just cleansing the totem not blessing, and that would have made the perk design less flawed.
And in the next chapters, assume they will design a new perk that will teleport the survivors directly to front the killer after the chest is unlocked.

The only real counter to boons is Shattered Hope which nobody runs because of how situational it is, so now another perk that is slightly better really does not kill boons. Both that perk AND a boon have to be equipped for that aspect of the perk to be triggered. If the survivors choose then to not do totems at all, the only value that perk gets is if they have another that blocks generators which the survivors would have had to deal with anyway.

Boons have to be alive before they even get killed.

then if they notice the boon triggers the perk and it gets snuffed, they know not to activate it again. One perk does not kill boons as a concept entirely like the poster claimed it does in the same way iron maiden does not kill flashbang or change of plans. It may give a counter to them but that's literally only if the killer has that one perk equipped among the 100 or so to choose from

The problem isn't whether it's a good choice or not; the problem lies in the design of the perk itself, which literally severely punishes survivors for interacting with a side objective, and this strongly contradicts the developers' attempt to encourage survivors to pursue side objectives.
Even the design of the perk never requires the killer to do anything to activate it, and it's not even a Hex totem; it exists to punish survivors for a side objective at any time in the match.
You can bring in Hex perks and use this perk to make the match on the survivors difficult and very annoying while the killer has done nothing to gain the effects.
Again, I am talking about the design of Perk, not whether it is a good choice or not.

Gonna be honest, 9 times out of 10 I ran this perk, I'd get undetectable mid-chase and a gen that wasn't even being worked on would get blocked. It's not that great of a perk even in a hex build. There are better options.

It's kind of fun in an all Hex build, but other than that, I've found it to be the weakest of Henry's perks.

Well there's still the perma gen block bug/exploit if they still havent fixed it with today's patch

It was patched this morning!
- Fixed an issue where a generator could be permanently blocked by Secret Project.

Good to know, thanks!

Would you suggest removing the totem part entirely and having it just be whenever a gen is blocked, have it be for cleansing hexes only or give it some other condition based on something the killer themselves does? I haven't got the perk so curious to know what others think would make it better

Gotta make those sales.
No decent survivor perk...again, i guess survivor barely bring money to justify these changes.

???
Dustin's window trap perk is great. Change of Plans is sneaky good as well.
We See You and ESP are both really good perks for El too.
Not a big fan of the teamwork perks, but they aren't quite the worst perks in the whole game.

Most people are running this with things like Grim/Deadlock/Thrilling or a hex build. Hoping someone blesses a totem is silly.

This content has been removed.

Doesnt work on the new killer or any high tiers.
Nicolas cage and sable (yes her) have better perks that cant be compared to.
Game changing perks. And not "do this...BUT WINDOW!!"
or "this perk but better!" (Distortion/we see you)
