Dear Behaviour... it's time...

I actually created a forum account for this, but it's honestly time to re-instate map offerings.

Please hear me out first.

The rotation of Nostromo, Toba and Midwich is getting entirely too stale. But there are some things I want to point out to you first. I have been playing since 5th Anniversary (2020) and have about 5,700 hours which I know if fairly small compared to others but I believe my input is valuable.

Re-instate Map Offerings back to their previous effect where you were pretty much guaranteed to go where you wanted. However… to help with Sac Wards, provide some incentive for players to actually use them.

Sacrificial Wards

-Causes all Realm or Map Selection Offerings burnt by other Players to be rejected.

(ADD) Grants +50% bonus bloodpoints in all scoring categories for the player burning this offering.

This provides some BP bonuses and incentive for those who want to block map offerings to simply throw up a Sac Ward anytime they play since we have made them common items.

The current state of Map Offerings is honestly laughable and abysmal. To test this, I brought an RPD offering 30 times (which ended up being in a row because no one tends to even try map offerings anymore) and out of 30 offerings, 2 were only successful in bringing us to RPD for the match. That is entirely unacceptable.

For the remaining matches, 11 of those were Nostromo, 7 were Toba, 2 were Dead Dawg. 5 were Midwich, 2 Autohaven and 1 Springwood.

It's a simple fix. I believe you would see more people using Sac Wards by providing this BP benefit in combination with it's map blocking effect.

I don't want the boiler plate, "thank you for your suggestion" response. I'd like to see the team actually consider this because I have a feeling it won't be such a difficult change.

Thank you for the consideration.

Always should have been true-random/no repeats. Idk how they effed that up

Why on earth would I use offerings that can get countered by others? Seems like a waste to me.

The entire point of changing the Map Offerings was players tilting the trial ridiculously in their favor. I wish several maps didn't have that effect, that they were more evenly balanced. But many are not.

Whether it was a team of survs wanting a favored map, or a map-dependant killer build, it allowed for too large of an advantage to one role.

Best now to only consider Realm banning offerings if anything. I personally am not in favor of those, but it's worth discussing.

Yes we need better map offerings back because the map weighting is so bad BHVR created a problem that was not a issue but now is.

Remove map weighting and make it truly random or give us back stronger map offerings so players can decided not to go on drakova deepwood for the 50th time

I vote for Remove map weighting offerings and rework all those offerings into something fun.
