Hold "W" Meta
I enjoy killer more so that Survivor. Now I would never claim to be a pro, but I'm noticing more and more often my games are becoming a massive struggle, nearing the point I'd rather find another game to play entirely.
I am just struggling with average movement killers due to survivors simply just holding down W. Either there are more subtle speed hackers these days, or there's some kind of shadow nerf to killers in general making them slightly slower than normal. Am I just completely losing my mind (completely possible) or is anyone else noticing something amiss lately?

I'm not really having an issue with people holding down W, however, I will say I am having a major issue with Generators being completed WAY too fast. Its quite boring to deal with every match.

Sorry, P100 Pig main here and even I am like… what is this post even saying? W is how survivors run. Yeah, sure hackers exist, and maybe you are getting a lot of hackers but maybe you are not. Since there is no way to truly know unless they are obvious about it, the way I see it is learn how to mind game them, cut them off, and win…. or lose. GG GL Next.3 -
I just went against a team with no toolboxes and no gen repair aside ONE Resiliance and they did gens faster than a full toolbox team on coal tower. Something is up.

Maybe its the killers you are playing. Doctor and Knight, for example, have to go a long way to catch survivors running.
If you hate W, try to learn Blight and Ghoul, they are very good at punishing mindless running.

I'm wondering if it's the spawn changes with have contributed to it? Since we spawn much further from survivors now, but they spawn together

i mean the developer could make the loops actually worth looping again but then you'll have people complain about that

This may be the culprit. I've noticed my Sadako games getting far more difficult. Doesn't help people are bringing anti-slug builds (the pickup ones with endurance) to go down under pallets with a pal nearby for the mid-endgame more and more often.
Though, I do remember survivors being split meant gen pressure was difficult, this just makes one or two gens fly faster since they can stack it and return to it if the killer commits to anyone in chase. Not sure what the solution to that is, if any.1 -
The loops are better than they were and you got more pallets to use. I dont think that is really the issue. Some maps sure need some love still but they are not terrible. (At least for me as survivor.)

Ive been playing a lot of Chucky lately, so I know how annoying the "hold W" strat can be to go against, BUT when more than half the killer roster has anti-loop abilities and around 80% of all map tiles are laughably bad and unsafe, what else do you expect survivors to do?
Have you seen maps like Grim Pantry lately?

- When survivors hold W, they're toxic or hackers.
- When survivors pre-drop pallets, they're toxic and annoying.
- When they're greedy with pallets and don't drop them, they're toxic.
