Nerf Blight Again.

His cooldowns are way too fast. I dodged 4 of his dashes and of course he still has another one. His power also comes back up SO fast. If you are not at a pallet or have any type of distance (Which is hard to do against him) you are just dead.

Blight actually takes mechanical skill. That’s one of the reasons I feel like he shouldn’t be nerfed.

Movement speed to 110, pallets breaking takes two tokens (zero is too much just two thats number you need to use with your power to break pallet at lowest and its solid time for 110 killer)

No need for token recharge buff with this just two simple changes for more fair blight.

Nurse can be number one if her speed is 98% so she cant chase without using her power compare to all killers.

I don’t like this. Also not a fan of making killers slower.

100% ghoul will get nerfed more and sooner than blight the golden child of DBD and nurse will get either nerf or rework before blight will get nerfed or touched by devs, trapper will be b-tier after rework and many other things will happen, blight is fun character i have to give them that but he should be 110 speed and loose like 2 tokens when he breaks pallet and he would be perfect, strong and fun while being harder killer to play.

Personaly Im shocked that the literally flash of DBD is still 115% speed but what surprise it took them 2 years to remove hug tech from him (he still is strong by comp players he is top number 1 killer in the game) and his busted addons like og compound 33 or alchemy ring while killers like ghoul got nerf in 1-2 months, dracula, chucky, krasue (I dont denny some of them were strong as hell but nothing compare to blight who is still king of DBD).

i don’t think we need to be giving compensation buffs to blight. he’s so strong that a couple flat nerfs won’t hurt him in the same way a A or B tier nerf would be. devs tried doing that with his addon pass in 2024 (rework/nerf op addons and compensate them with other super strong addons instead of balanced ones) and it didn’t work out good. there was like 4 consecutive patches where the devs tweaked and reworked the already tweaked and reworked addons since they were so busted.

they should start with flat nerfs and see how it settles before giving him compensation buffs imo.

Honestly this is probably the best take on a blight nurf as taking anymore tokens would destroy his bump logic playstyle and does not ruin the speed people like about him.

Just throwing the question out there to those who may understand any issue with the idea, but what would be the repercussions of taking away Blight's ability to break pallets while rushing? Would it effect him majorly or be an acceptable change on top of some of those already mentioned above?

Which is exactly what I was aiming for

The token recharge time increase was made to keep it the same when he fully exhausts his tokens which is 10 seconds.

Pallet break consuming 2 tokens is also there to at least give survivor a bit of breathing room since on some maps he can just immediately catch up (no idea why this hasnt been done yet, Ghoul has had it for months now)

The stun recovery and recharge is a lot bigger than it seems. A lot of filler pallets nowadays can easily be walked around and stunning him with one of these arent as rewarding as it should be. Token(s) recharging only when the stun is finished means you have a better opportunity to reach somewhere else, rather than him stepping to the side and immediately rushing towards you.

Blighted Crow being made basekit is mainly because it might as well already be. I cannot tell you the last time I went against a Blight who didnt have at least 1 of the rush speed add ons.

Add on pass is mainly for the lower rarity add ons like the Rat and Crow which are basically the same but with different numbers.

We huffed that copium for ghoul for 9 months and for nurse for 9 years.

Im just sticking to killer, less stress, less bs, more control, my mistakes. More wins.

im 1 of the strongest dbd blights no flexing, i currently shifted to play billy instead of blight, blight is by far the strongest killer beside nurse, the thing i can suggest for blight is 4.4 movement speed, slightly longer cooldown on his tokens, and the remoival of tokens when he break pallets and injure survivors, this would make him really fair actually removed from S tier and placed on top A tier. still very powerful and strong enough to beat top SWFs, but easier to handle.

  • Why are we nerfing killers when survivors need to get better first?

Is what I would say if blight wasn't actually OP. Even at the comp setting he often 4ks. Nerf this killer immediately

*One reason: These are powerful killers that existed during the player's time in the game. *First Era: Nurse *Second Era: Blight *Third Era: Ghoul *The same player may continue playing the game, but they will eventually quit. *Each time, new players bring new blood and keep the game alive. I believe killers like these will continue to appear in the future.

*Blight is one of the killers that is now much easier to control for console players compared to when it was released. *This may be one of the reasons. *However, if this killer frequently ruins the player experience, it will be nerfed.

I think survs will just start pre dropping when he's rushing I would assume

Hmm I kinda agree but I think the recharge time should be 3 seconds and breaking a pallet consumes 3 tokens or just forget about that and just make him 110%

The only thing that I dont like about making him 110% is he probably suffers the most out of any of the top tiers when it comes to getting an indoor map and that's pretty much the only case where him being 110% actually matters.

As for the cooldowns you don't want to be on cooldown for the large portion of the game. 2 tokens being removed is already 5 seconds of down time that you didn't have before, and I think with your suggestion of it being 9 seconds is a bit too much. Gotta remember his chase is also affected now as well with only having 4 tokens instead of 5

I have now played against that guy four different times. Every match we got wrecked at 4-5 gens. Each game was just absolutely misery. He streams 24/7 at this point so he is sort of hard to avoid if you are on US East. He's closing in on his third 1900+ winstreak. I do wonder what is considered too much for this killer in Behavior's eyes. He's obviously extremely overpowered in the hands of a good player and yet they do nothing. I don't have any delusions about this either. Nerfing Blight won't have me suddenly winning against Momo but it would at least make the typical sweaty Blight match more interesting.
