Dead by daylight survey:

I completed the DBD survey last night and I wanted to share here the 3 killers I chose and the changes I made to those killers and their perks:

The pig:

.Reduce the amount of jig saw boxes needed to be searched to 2-3 rather than being between 1-4 jig saw box searches.

.Increase the time it takes to search a jigsaw saw box by 25%.

Add ons:

.Bag of gears- Increase the attachment speed of reverse bear traps to 65% but removed the jigsaw box search penalty effect.

.Crates of gears- Survivors searches jigsaw boxes 30% quicker but the pig crouch movement speed and dashing movement speed is increased by 5%.

Perks:

Make your choice:

.The survivor who unhooks a survivor has their aura revealed for 5 seconds (New effect).

For hangman trick (rework):

When a survivor has been hooked, this perk activates. Every other survivor aura is revealed to the killer who are within 8 meters of any hook. When the hooked survivor has been unhooked, they suffer the blindness status effect until healed and this perk enters a 30 seconds cool down.

Surveillance (rework):

When a generator has been damaged by any means, it turns white. When the regression of the white generator stops, it turns meow for 45 seconds and every time a survivor hits a great skill check on the yellow generator, it loses 5% of its progress.

The Ghoul:

.Increase the range of kagune leap to 15 meters.

.Decreased the duration of ghouls enraged from a perfectly timed grabbed to 45 seconds.

.Yamori's mask add on rework- after hooking a survivor, survivors 40 meters or beyond the hooked survivor has their aura revealed for 3 seconds.

.Fix his exploits and bugs, which is his major issues and is the main reason people hates this killer. E.g hitting survivors behind walls with power, survivors being stunned in position longer than intended when grabbed by Kagune leap whilst ghoul vaults, etc.

Perks:

Hex nothing but misery:

.Hitting a survivor with your basic attack or ability 8 times activates this perk.

Forever entwined:

No changes

None are free:

Each token is now 18 seconds rather than 16 seconds.

Nemesis:

Tentacle strike:

.No longer inflicts haste nor give speed boost to survivors when they become contaminated.

.Tentacle strike cooldown is now 2.5 seconds.

Zombies:

.Zombies gives 1 contamination point to nemesis when contaminating a survivor, and 0.5 contamination points if they hit a contaminated zombie.

.On large maps (such as lerys, azarov resting place, green ville square), 3 Zombies should spawn on the map.

.Zombies LOS is 17 meters and FOV is 215 for non-contaninated survivors.

.Zombies LOS is 19 meters and FOV is 225 for contaminated survivors.

.Base movement speed is 1.0 m/s, but increased to 1.35 m/s when they spot a survivor.

.When a zombie downs/injures/contaminates a survivor, the survivor aura is revealed to nemesis for 3 seconds. The zombie aura also turns yellow when they hit the survivor for 15 seconds, which increases their movement speed to 1.5 m/s and cant be blinded, stunned or killed during the duration.

.If a zombie is stuck for 5 seconds, they will despawn and respawn at a different location.

Add ons:

.Brian's intestines- increase Zombies speed by 0.1 m/s

.STARS field combat manual- increase the duration of which Zombies are highlighted yellow for with their effects to 20 seconds.

.visitor wristband- Zombies FOV decreased by 25° but LOS increased by 5 meters.

.admin wristband- Zombies FOV increased by 25° but LOS decreased by 5 meters. Note this is now a brown add on.

.mikhails eye- increase zombie movement speed by 0.2 meters.

.Licker tounge- whenever a survivor is contaminated by any means, nemesis gains 5% haste for 5 seconds.

.T virus sample- increase the mutation points Zombies inflict when hitting a survivor by 0.5 contamination points.

.tyrant gore- removed mutation bonus when killing zombie with Tentacle strike but decreased the time at which dead Zombies are dead for to 8.5 seconds.

.Depleted ink ribbon- Zombies now spawn outside exit gates rather than inside exit gates when the endgame starts.

    The pig changes are more of a side grade. It is very frustrating being that person who has to search all 4 boxes and makes it fairly boring to go against. Making it 2-3 boxes but 25% slower will be equivalent to almost 4 jigsaw boxes without needing to search 4 jig saw boxes. Furthermore, not being able to remove the besr trap first try is a massive buff since it means the survivors has to spend much more time searching boxes, giving pig some better map pressure. For ghoul, I believe his range should never have been nerfed so reverting that is more of a QOL change. Reducing his enrage timer is small but a noticable nerf. Personally, ghoul is fine to go up against however his bugs and exploits is what makes him insufferable. I believe that if his bugs and exploits are fully fixed, he will be enjoyed by most of the community (or atleast more welcomed). So fixing ghoul bugs snd exploits would theoretically nerf him by a decent amount especially the big bugs.

    Ngl the nemisis buff would make him capable of double tapping survivors since they dont get a damage sprint. Unless you just ment the first strike that doesnt deal damage

    Contamiting a survivor by any means removes the hinder and speed boost. If the survivor gets injured, they still get the speed boost. Removing the haste and hinder makes the survivor lose distance so in compensation, making the cool down of the tentacle strike .25 seconds longer should give the survivors a good amount of distance.

    Ok so soo many people are overlooking these changes and saying "pig changes are nerf" or are just not reading them properly so I'll break them down. For the pig, I stated these 2 changes: "Reduce the amount of jig saw boxes needed to be searched to 2-3 rather than being between 1-4 jig saw box searches but increase the time it takes to search a jigsaw saw box by 25%". Now people are overlooking this and calling this a nerf which it isnt. You can not remove the reverse bear trap on your first try, meaning that survivors has to go to multiple of boxes to remove the head trap. This is already a pretty good buff since it creates much more map pressure to the survivors and would mean they're spending less time on gens and more on jig saw boxes. However, setting the limit to 2-3 jigsaw boxes is a noticeable nerf since there isn't a chance of a survivor having to search all 4 boxes so in compensation, making each jigsaw box search time 25% longer kinda counteract that. Sure it means survivors spends less time running accross the map but at the same time, the changes are suppose to make the survivor experience better so making it 2-3 jigsaw boxes 25% longer to search makes this more enjoyable for survivors whilst not having a big impact on the pig.

    Now the Ghoul changes I can understand the hate since hes already a hated killer so let me explain. The Ghoul having 15 meters range was what it was originally like and personally it being 15 meters was perfectly fine. The main issue people has with Ghoul (without realising) is his bugs and exploits. Ghoul has soo many bugs and exploits now that it makes it very difficult to know what is and isnt an exploit. E.g a Ghoul making much more distance after first kagune leap tends to be players on PC abusing the F11 bug to make that distance. Fixing all of his bugs and exploits would make a very noticeable difference going agaisnt the Ghoul and would be a much enjoyable time.

    Now for nemesis, I've seen people say "removing the haste means they wont make distance when injured" which is you reading the post wrong. The haste and hinder from "contaminating" a survivor has been removed. In compensation, I made the cool down of tentacle strike .25 seconds longer to ensure that the survivor still makes distance but not too much distance so it becomes easier for nemesis to get a quicker hit than before. Now I think the other nemesis changes doesnt need addressing but if you want then addressed, then I can do.
