META SHAKEUP IDEA!
recently I’ve been kinda hating the survivor & killer meta.
As a solo que survivor myself generators feel like they take ETERNITY to pop, or worse I’ll be in chase for a solid minute and NOTHING will happen.
And
As (mainly) killer main generators feel like they pop way WAY too fast!
But no more!
One singular idea/phrase could fix this!
HIGH RISK → HIGH REWARD
You’ve seen the perk quick gambit correct? Make that perk should be made meta. And make that meta RISKY.
No more 5% gen speed. BUFF IT!
Up to 10 maybe 15 max gen speed.
But add some extra risk involved!
maybe the skill check moves faster, maybe the generators noisier, maybe it applies EXPOSED!!!!
I dunno!!! But none the less it should be a gamble on the part of the chaser; “ if I bring the killer over to the generator… are my teammates going to be able to still hit skill checks? And if the killer decides to leave me, will my teammates be able to handle it?”
AGENCY IS STILL IN THE KILLER’S HAND
The killer can go “wait why are they bringing me to a generator?” & intuitively KNOW “oh wait! It’s quick gambit!”
I would also just say generator speed as whole would probably need a nerf to balance it out… maybe an extra 30 seconds; also hyperfocus and stake out need a nerf because the swf potential of chasers with quick gambit and gen jockeys with stake out could very much so be horrifying.

let me explain in case I wasn’t clear.
Generators take to long as survivor due to incompetence. At lower ranks or however SBM works. My teammates as solo que survivor tend to not be… good.
Gen speed in that sense is easily fixed tell new survivor players NO MATTER WHAT to prioritize generators.
Of course this lacks nuance. You should save your teammates if hooked! But you don’t need to send out more than one.
Basically I’m saying this issue could be solved by just a better tutorial
