7 minutes is all I can spare to play with Henry...
anybody else just...not seeing The Henry? is this a sign that our economy is in the tank? or is missing with him just as "feels bad man" as Unknown?
I didn't see him at all yesterday. not even once. I keep getting springtraps(i love you so much buddy), Doctors(who then heck is playing this guy?) MYERS(whyyyyyyyy please stop playing him...) with a sprinkle of knight, Clown, gf and wesker
please I beg you, play the Henry before he is rare...I loved vecna 1 so much I mastered his counterplay when he was new, but now he's dead and buried. seems this new vecna is already going to join him.
people wanted wesker and chucky nerfed ONLY because they were common and people wanted them nerfed out of spite so people would stop playing them. where is that love for this "new epic modern nurse kill everyone in 5 second chase" guy?
sorry if this is random even for me, but I really want to be a veteran Henry looper and I'm feeling so let down for a killer who is both hyped and strong.
I'm hyperfixating hard on ST, I've been binging dbd because of the new Chapter while I watch the show. I started the previous weekend and I'm already on season 5.
this killer and Demo should have been in this 2v8 instead of chucky, because why do I wanna play a mode where there's a 0% chance to see Henry? I need the loop practice!
I'm even playing 11 in the hopes of summoning this guy but nothing's working. and we are already talking about nerfing this guy. please dbd community come through for me T_T
I'm shouting to the wind maybe and that's ok. over and out :(

Nope too late people figured out the hard-counter play and now he is unfun to play.
Pre-running/Shift W is too strong against him and can cause games against competent players feel really bad.
People who are not good at the game DC against him so its a lose/lose for Henry Players.
So back to ol'reliable The Blight! y a y

He's balanced in the sense that you have to be really good at him in order to get value, but once you hit that point he's pretty oppressive.
You're most likely not seeing him due to him being behind a paywall + you can invest a similar time in Blight/Nurse/Ghoul and find more success.
I don't think he needs buffs and still needs a slight nerf, but we really just need to nerf the 'Big 3' already.

- It's normal that he doesn't have the same hype as the first few days, but I faced him often yesterday... I'd say in about ten games, 3-4 times. For me, he's a really fun killer to face. His "fame" is definitely better than Houndmaster and Krasue (thankfully, it literally disappeared after the nerf). Some people complain about not always winning with him... guys, he was released a week ago, maybe it's normal not to have mastered him 100%... others make the comparison with Nurse or Blight for constancy , killers who have 10 and 6 years of training, strategies, perks combo, video tutorial ecc ecc🤣🤣🤣 give everyone time "to process" this killer.
- Edit: My advice to killers is... don't be predictable with him and try to "study" the survivor in front of you. If he makes "obvious" moves... for example, runs straight towards the pallet, well, you'll have your power easily. But if the survivor is always feinting and misleading, be patient with your power and try to be unpredictable yourself. If you see that the survivor is really good, LET HIM GO... find the weak link in the team and that way you'll quickly have your power at its maximum.

Well I'll be playing him over the weekend. Still having fun with him, and I'm on the hunt to mori every stranger things character. I've got dustin and robin so far

I played 9 survivor matches last night and 3 were against Henry. He's out there.
I think a lot of people tried him and quickly dropped off. It doesn't help that he's much harder on controller. I've been playing as him though and he's helping me mellow out. I'd been going too hard as killer the last few months, but landing his vine attack is so satisfying I'm not so worried about winning much. He's becoming my zen killer.

the controller bits been a bit rough but he's been fun to play just like old m2 spam trickster was for me. I miss a lot but it's been a fun vibe regardless. I made a thread a while back gushing about it but I've been having fun with Weave Attunement pretending I'm Jaws on all these indoor levels we are getting xD

Kaneki is not apart of this "big 3"

I'm trying to main him, and I'm going with no addons and aura perks just to get familiar with him.
So I can see why not many people play him.
The biggest thing I've faced is if survivors KNOW how to dodge, it's extremely hard to hit them especially in open place, where there's 360 DEGREE DIRECTIONS for him to dodge. Unless you predict EXACTLY where they're going to dodge, you're not getting hit, which is really hard with so many directions.
Btw, holding your power doesn't work either, because you move so slow, so you're not gaining distance at all. It's like nurse keep holding her hand aiming her power, except you don't teleport.
Last, that underground attack is so damn slow that UNLESS you're right on top of them, and predict which way they run, otherwise you're not getting hit. And even if you do, they gain SO MUCH distance away that you spent ages catching up. Most of the time I just have to drop the chase because that's too damn far to chase.
So yeah, compared to any S tier with mobility, he feels so sluggish to play

He was never going to be very popular killer.
Despite what some people try to claim, he is not an easy killer to play. He is close to impossible to play on controller.
Missing his attacks against good survivors can be frustrating, but you are also very bad at dealing with exhaustion perks.Sure, as soon survivors get into your range, if you land your vines they are done, so hold W as counterplay is needed here.

I absolutely love playing him. I traded being a Vecna main to be a Vecna main. He is perfect the way he is. I love his gameplay, I love how mechanical it is and I love how read-heavy it is. Unfortunately he is slow, and he does depend on slowdown to give him time to work his thing. But otherwise I love him. I have only ever liked 3 killers in this game to this level. Blight, DnD Vecna and now The Henry. As long as he doesn't get any changes to make him clunky to play, I will continue to play him for the foreseeable future.

I've seen Henry maybe 8-9 times total since he came out. I got him 2 days ago and he got maybe 2 hooks in that game if i remember correct. I can't blame people not playing him. Good survivors will dodge his attacks and bad survivors…well do what bad survivors do. I'll keep playing him even if i lose. Somehow im still enjoying him, even though he's super frustrating when missing few attacks.
After that i got 4 blights 1 nurse and i think few ghouls and legion. 😫

So he is like a killer from Deathgarden. People who can't aim will be bad at him, but people who can will be playing for score rather than for win, because winning is unconditional at this point, just like it was in Deathgarden, where players with FPS background competed against other killers in the global score board, taking survivors as NPCs to be farmed.

Pretty much, it's about the same for Blight/Nurse.
Their killrate is not that good, because most players are bad with them. I would say same works for Henry, but he is also weaker than those two and he is at some things even more difficult.
For example precision required is way higher than with Nurse, but you have more attempts to balance that.

People have learned the counterplay his vine attack is easy to dodge and pre running and hold W beats him easily using exhaustion perks also helps immensely.
