Nurse Bot on 2v8 should getting nerfed
Yesterday I had the experience in the 2v8 mode that the player who was playing the Nurse left the match. The bot is completely overpowered, hits every single time, and there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it. Behind a wall, with height differences, doesn’t matter. Looping the killer is nearly impossible; the bot downed four players in a very short amount of time. I mean, a challenging game is always entertaining, and that’s part of what makes DBD fun. But a bot that is basically all‑seeing, deliberately hunts down the next target, and has a hit rate of almost 100% is definitely not how it’s supposed to be. It feels like playing against a cheater who also happens to be insanely skilled. When I died, I watched the other players who were being chased by the Nurse. They didn’t stand a chance. No matter how well they played.
Has anyone else had this experience with the bots, and how do the other bots behave?

lol I was wondering when this sort of thing was going to happen. Survivor bots are a nightmare with their wall hacks, but can be baited at specific tiles.
I can't imagine a bot nurse… peak dbd horror lol

I think this is the problem with bots in general. While I have never myself experienced a Nurse Bot in 2v8, having experienced a cheater Spirit Bot in the main game, I can imagine how much worse a Nurse Bot would be. Now, BHVR's Spirit bot likely is not as overtuned as the cheater one was, but I imagine she's still a problem because an AI is always going to have a level of perfection that a human cannot match.
Heck, even survivor bots I find most of the time I can avoid flashlight saves from all but the best players, but a bot? The best players wish they had the accuracy of the survivor bots with a flashlight.2 -
- The survivor bots are terrible, but are you really having trouble catching them? The thing they should change IMMEDIATELY is their "I'll hide and crouch, the killer will never see me" mentality.🤣 I've never encountered a nurse bot, but I have encountered a legion bot (when legion was present in 2vs8) and it was a real nightmare.

I said it from time to time that some Killer Bots would go Nuts if they weren´t programmed to miss.
Imagine the following:
A Huntress bot will always throw her hatched when you are into her hit zone. So either do a sick flick or get downed.
Spirit bot should be much stronger aswell. I mean for her nothing changes when she chases you just that she gets much faster.
And so on.
So I must take a defensive post here for BHVR because many players said just do a custom mode vs bot Killers. But that isn´t so easy to balance as you see with the nurse bot because the only way you could nerf her is by programming her to be bad at her distance calculating.

You actualy dont need to imagine it there is whole video about it from coconut where he tried 8k with just nurse bot and succeeded, I dont think her bot was changed since then.
Spirit bot is too almost impossible to avoid.

I'd rather imagine. Love coconut, but can't really stomach dbd streamers anymore. Appreciate the heads up though!

I get it, the outcome was that nurse bot fuctions like god like nurse main she was super accurate with her blinks even when line of sight was blocked like she had wallhacks like survivor bots (meaning she knows how far you are from her so you cant trick her) and he get 8 kills with her just was picking up and breaking gens with wraith and he didnt need to hit anyone strongest thing was from him bodyblocking and few times he faked uncloaking to scare survivors from gen that was highly progressed which strangly worked (Im slways getting dedicated survivors that know how to get that gen done sadly).
On average her bot got like 4-5 kills which alone isnt bad and only salvation is that nurse isnt played that much in 2v8 because if he did this with legion back then it would be easy win.
Spirits bot I find very hard to beat when she phases and you dont have any window or pallet to save you you cant mess her up like normal player same with nurse bot breaking los doesnt work on her.

all the bots are cracked lol. I've had both Legion and wesker bots annihilate everything. just gotta not get in their way. terrifying

survivor bots have been nerfed in the past for being too powerful

Yeah those instablinds were very fun to deal with or doging every range attack like nothing plus with not being mindgameable (which they are now, but sometimes on shorter loops with pallet or window they vault back and forth so on these they are but on loops like shack you cant get them with mind games they will always hold the distance).

Bots were quite annoying at the beginning, but they nerfed them quite a lot.
Survivor bots with flashlights were a menace. Also trying to hit them with ranged power was near impossible.2 -
I find bots tend to play better than normal players as a rule 🤣 not really seen killer bots but i can imagine the nurse one is a nightmare.
They do some janky stuff and can be caught without too much difficulty once you're familiar with how they move. But they are straight flawless at dodging powers if you try to use them in the open without corraling them into an unavoidable hit

if you do see a killer bot, my suggestion is to let them do their thing and not get in their way. they're kinda dumb but as long as they don't get confused by getting too close they'll just clean up shop. tbh I'd rather play killer by myself with a bot than a solo q teammate haha

I'd imagine they are predictable but accurate. And lol yeah, i flatly refuse to play survivor solo unless i have a challenge i really need to do. It's good to have at least 1 team mate who listens

To the last point specifically, the criticism at this point centers more around them introducing bots to custom games 5 years ago sans Killers, with 2v8 serving as a testing ground for bridging that gap, and they've still only managed to release a little under half of the roster who is still unavailable in custom games.

The last killer bot I faced was Nemesis and it was lethal being able to hit whip attacks at the furthest possible distance
