Decisive strike quality of life, little buff for stop definitely tunneling
Dont get me wrong, the perk is good but needs some twists for kill definitelly the most annoying part of the game,THE TUNNELING.
When you are chased/downed by the killer the timer stop.
This will reduce drastically the tunneling and will increase the fair play both sides.
I think no one can complain about this change, slugging is boring for survivors and killers too. And when im being chased after the unhook i want to use my perk.

Firstly, I don't tunnel.
Secondly, I'm not a killer main. I play both sides at rank 1, of which I'm sure you do not.

Some players can down you after they have hooked another person but they still have to take the hit? No thanks...

The perk its still useless against tunnelers.

Just as @tt_ivi_99 said, it punishes people who aren't tunneling as well. That is my biggest issue with it. The timer needs to be reduced or the perk shut off once a different survivor is downed. Either of those scenarios would ensure it only affects tunnelers, of which is currently does not.

In my opinion, DS is perfect where it is right now.
I have waited for this rework for months and both as a killer and as a survivor I am really pleased.

@Blueberry that downed thing could be bad, if the killer doesn't get a down in like 2 minutes. I think they should leave it as it is.

I understand this scenario, but when i run this perk every time i cant use it, NOT because the killer doesnt tunnel, but because im good to loop and when im downed i cant use it

If you really looped him off the hook for over 60 seconds then that just cost him probably 2 gens since the other survivors were free to work on them...that's already a punishment in itself and not worth it for him. Also, the devs didn't intend for chases to go for 1minute+ so that in itself also illustrates a problem.

Chased no, downed yes. BUT only if it deactivates if the killer injures or downs another survivor.

No. 60 seconds wasted leaving you on the floor and giving time for your team mates to heal you up is plenty. However, make it more than one use. Tunneling is a "more than once" occasion. You will get downed twice at least off hook, give it two uses.

@Blueberry I'd like to see that implemented regardless tbh. 60 seconds is way to generous for an anti tunnel perk. Borrowed time is like a 1/4 of that.

If the timer was match the 15 seconds of invulnerability period before BT then I'll be okay with the timer pausing while in a chase or while in the dying state. How does that sound @Blueberry?

no the perk just got a reasonable buff and the timer is long enough. If the timer paused you would be able to heal than go find the killer and do a full chase. The perk is for anti tunneling and 1 minute after a hook for activation is plenty of time.

20-30 sec clock, stops on chase or when downed....why it’s not like this instead of the current 60 I have no idea. It’s common sense for an anti tunnel perk to me.

Whenever you're unhooked by someone with BT, you'll have 15 seconds in which you have the endurance status effect, the time where you'll enter deep wound if attacked. DS should match the 15 seconds of BT to prevent survivors from abusing the timer. However, the DS timer will pause while in a chase or while in the dying state.

If MoM wasn't a thing then I could support this but given how often the two go together, Decisive Strike has no business getting a buff. On its own it's in a solid place already. But any alterations made to it here on out HAVE to be made with the synergy it has with MoM in mind.

Oh so basically a 15 second timer but it will pause in chase or on the ground. i'd be fine with that.
