Let us know what you think about 2v8's tonics!

its really bad being able to remove a hook state is overpowered

I find them right at the beginning of the match, but it's prohibitively difficult to A) remember where they are, and B) run all the way over to where that was. They're never around when I can actually use one (since you can't pick them up and save them).
I don't know if my teammates are just using them up, but I've literally never used a single one.

Green Tonic is just too strong for survivor. On top of the torchbearer class being added… the ability to deny and even undo hooks can be miserable to deal with.
Also i dont get why killer classes were overall nerfed and made less synergistic. Shouldn't teammwork between killers be encouraged? Whats the point of mode entirely otherwise0 -
Love the tonics.
2v8 should be less competitive and give survivors an edge.
Survivors are tired of getting stomped in 1v4.
The constant meta try hard is tiresome.-1 -
I like the tonics but for killer they feel a bit underwhelming. Everything the killer gets in 2vs8 is haste and it is getting stale. Give me undetectable, increased gen kick, aura reading in a certain radius for a certain duration or some other effects.
It would also be cool if you added tonics to the normal mode as side objective, where you have to do something for them

They are a good addition to the mode, although the Purified have quite a strong effect for survivor (no need to nerf). The diluted tonic could have a faster pickup speed for survivor and the Purified could be longer, considering the strength of the effects.
For killers, i would suggest that it would be best to get a 5% haste for longer than a very short 10% boost. Like, considering the time spent getting the tonic and not doing chases, make the Diluted tonic to give 5% haste for one killer for 30 40 seconds and the Purified to give 5% for both killer for 50~60 seconds. It would be really helpful without being too game breaking.

Love them! Especially since we have more insta-down killers, and unless you're in a full 8-man SWF you're usually paired with a very mixed bag of teammates, most of whom not understanding not to unhook in the killers' faces or to heal teammates. Therefore it's nice to have a chance.
As for killer I play Wesker/Spirit/Nemesis and haven't really felt the need to use the tonics tbh. So I can't say much on that regard.
Improvement ideas: make the Purified tonic only available to survivors on dead-hook though. Perhaps for killer the Purified tonic could do something other than giving haste. Break a pallet instead could be nice. Edit: didn't mean to post twice 😅

I can answer the last one.
The reason why legion and guide got killed off.
Was because it was really unhealthy for the game.
I dont know why you cant just remotely support eachother like shadow did or og wraith class synergy did at one point.
But getting double teamed is one of the top reasons why survivors dont like playing 2v8. You cant really loop or counter 2 killers unless they are both really bad
So it feels awful, same happened to guide and legion.

I appreciate you can't use the herbs as they're RE property, but I don't like the tonics visually.
It's hard to spot them (I've seen killers walk past them countless times), and I don't easily remember what colour does what - green ISN'T the healing one, right?
Can the hook state tonic be yellow and the healing one bright green please?
