Should Dredge and Unknown be the next killers for 2v8?
I'm suprised both killers arent already in the mode, Unknown should be easy to implement. Dredge might be a bit tougher to add as you would have to worry about locker spawns on bigger maps, and some 1v4 maps have iffy spawns for him to begin with. As for buffs for them, i'm just spittballing here but Dredge being able to teleport to any locker without a range limit or a massive range limit at least. As for unknown maybe have his projectile have a increased radius or something idk, point is i feel like these two should come in as the next duo added as they arent as a much a migraine compared to Plague and Singularity.

The Unknown (i main him Btw) is a very Difficult killer to add. Thry would need to do alot of changes to make him function. But if they ever do ill play him only in 2v8.

I'm not sure how Nightfall would go on such a big map and with another killer, and the locker spawn needs work (as it does in 1v4 too), but Dredge would be a lot of fun if they could make it happen.
Idk why they haven't done Clown. He seems easy enough to implement.

do you guys enjoy the mode being intentionally survivor sided?,
i dont mind if you want your killer to be in 2v8,
but we are in no position to add more killers on 2v8 without it making it worse for everyone involved.-8 -

This makes no sense. As survivor i'm tired of going against the same killers all over again. Queue times are astronomical either way. They have been even when new there wasn't any new killer added. And play while you wait helps a lot with the longer queue times. If they gave back the 400% i believe queue times would be much better than they currently are. I don't know why BHVR is so stingy with Bloodpoints incentives.The least they can do is add more killers so people still have interest in playing both sides or this mode will be just another 1v4 queue destroyer.

Dredge and especially Unknown would need massive buffs just to be playable in the mode

I'm all for the Dredge, but with so many pallets on a 2v8 map, I doubt its ability makes any sense at all
I can also say the same about the Unknown, it seems to be so insignificant in normal mode that it has the lowest kill rate of all
Therefore, if they are added, then it will be with conditions on the maps, like less pallets and more lockers, or making killers unhealthy, as was the case with the Clown buff in previous patches

It'd be cool if they added all the Withered Isle killers to 2v8 at once. Unknown would definitely need some changes to work properly in the context of 2v8, and Nightfall values for Dredge would be interesting to see adjusted.
Some of the more monstrous killers have already found their way into the mode, I'd love to see that continue.

Tbh, all killers should just be added to 2v8 despite not having buffs yet, and they can just slowly roll buffs out over time

The variety isnt going to get better if they add more killers.
This was clear the moment they expanded from 5 og killers to blight, spirit and slinger.
Now everyone is just playing oni, blight, wesker. Or maybe spirit and nurse.
Now they added 16 killers and its the same 3 killer, which wont improve unless everyone is s-tier or they force the variety on them by limiting killer options.
I can also say the same with survivor, but no one cares.

Well, i am constantly seeing the more different killers in my matches. TBH, the most common killer in my matches tend to be Wraith and Ghostface, which are two of the weakest in 2v8. Is very hard to get the same killers in a row, even the S tiers.
This mode don't have MMR, so its completely random who we match. So we don't have the argument that "in high MMR its only Nurse and Blight" as have in the 1v4.
More killers = more diversity. People don't just play S tiers, they like to change who the play. A lot of players is going for Chucky, even though he is not the strongest right now.
They really should add 3 killers for every iteration of 2v8, helping with the killer diversity.

Basically to make him decent they would need to give him double the hallucinations he can spawn due to bigger maps, shorter tp cooldown and Uvx cooldown to be able to shoot every 3 seconds.

I think dredge would basically be like a passive support killer his nightfall is basically a benefit for the other killer unless it also blinds the other killer also but yeah dredge basically depends on the locker spawns on maps.
Clown idk why either he was supposed to come with Chucky but held back for some reason. I'd assume the buff they'd give clown would just be 2x the bottles he has in 1v4 anything other then that would be to strong if they buffed his hinder or haste bottles as well.

it does have mmr, just like all other events.
while it doesnt effect your mmr whenever you win or lose compared to normal queue.
it does take your mmr into account whenever you get matched. (i:e if you have high mmr or are just a beginner)
this could also just be a region thing, i almost never seen a ghostface, rarely wraiths, just the same 4 high-tier slop.1 -
As far i know, it doesn't have an MMR, specially considering its a game mode, not a modifier. Also, considering how MMR works in the 1v4, even if it had MMR, with a 20+min queue you would be matched with anyone, so MMR would mean nothing, even if it was used in the mode.
Yeah, maybe its a region thing but i see almost every killer, just Trapper is a bit missing in the mode in my matches.

They will need to maybe increase how much it takes to remove the UVX if they keep the cooldown the way it is. But I hope they do ur idea instead
I would remove the ability to Dispell his Hallucinations because you can have them Dispelled easily for how many survivors there is. I would make them a one time use

That can work but it also depends. Knowing behavior they will probably let multiple survivors Dispell it or not do anything with that.

No, i mean the reason killer queues are so long is novelty because of being able to play killer as a friend. It's actually getting better each 2v8. Last one the killer queues were 25+ minutes. This one i'm regularly getting queues that are 17 minutes.

brother, new Killers ARE the content lol. if you get a Hag or Trapper you are playing Minesweeper. if you get Springtrap you are playing FNAF etc. helping us helps you.
I'm so sick of seeing all these 2v8 killers. I seriously need springtrap and dnd vecna. being paired up against wraiths is killing my soul

I faced these killers before and having #56 variant of double team isnt really going to make anyone play survivor.
You arent playing killer just because we got a survivor only chapter with twd.
No survivors cares about new killers unless you actively play them.

Yes double harmless, even with good buffs they would be bad like even nemi who is great in chase in 1v4 struggles very hard in 2v8 and wraith with best addon classes can just get destroyed by survivors just predroping and with multiple sprintbursts and scouts he can do nothing about it and he isnt even bad in 2v8 so uknown and dreadge would get cooked alive in 2v8.
