Who's excited!?
I'm extremely biased but I'm super excited for the map reveal that's coming tomorrow and the ptb thats launching on the 24th of this month!
I haven't been playing recently, and I'm not really a fan of 2v8 either, but Trickster is one of my favorite killers. I genuinely hope his power is getting a rework or at least some massive buffs since its literally called the All-Kill Comback

I like this one more than the first version because even it takes more knifes to get injure you are more versitile with 115 speed, the old trickster was like super deadly on low profile loops or in open and super weak on high wall loops more weaker than m1 killer with 115 speed (unless he run the bouncing off knifes addon that honestly should be basekit on his main event).
Hope they dont screw this up but honestly I dont think it will be praised here or in general because trickster is one of most hated killers for majority of survivors so he wont get much love from them only reason he isnt being called out now as ghoul is because there is few people that play him compare to other annoying killers for majority of survviors players.

It's weird for me. I got into DBD because of All-Kill. I like Trickster.
I'm excited for the map because i'll be able to enjoy it regardless of who i play.
But i don't know if i'll be able to enjoy trickster. I've always wanted to but i've always found his gameplay irritating. Nowadays i really want killers with mobility and chase power. If you don't have both, you have to play defensively around hooks and gens and i don't like doing this. Currently trickster's lack of mobilty and large lullaby means he does have to play defensively. He can punish altruism hard and this is why people get unreasonably salty against him. Pretty weak killer yet extremely hated. So im excited to see what they do but i don't expect it'll stick for me.0 -
Unfortunately Trickster is the sort of character thats difficult to justify giving a mobility power. I just hope he becomes more than just throwing knives. Even though I want them still in his kit for how good they look, I want them to do more than what they do know. Anything than what they do now.

It feels odd for me to be excited for Trickster related content as back in the day I hated his inclusion in the game (keep in mind back then DBD still had a lot more 'horror' to it).
But over time I grew to appreciate him more and more, especially with how well written Yun-Jins and his stories are when taken as a complete picture rather than seperately. I also like his gameplay not for its strength but the satisfaction factor of landing knife after knife.
I'm glad older Killers are finally getting new maps though, we really missed out on Trickster, Blight, Twins having cool unique maps to go with them.

I won’t be excited about anything until matchmaking/MMR changes gets announced. At this point I don’t think it’s ever going to happen.

They have literally said multiple times they are currently working on it now. So yes, its happening.

I know some people will complain about the neon, but i hope the devs leave it be. I'm kind of over the dull aesthetic of current maps.

Long overdue map, but I'm happy that what was probably DBD's most popular original chapter is making a Comeback. Excited to test out new Trickster, the new survivor and hopefully voice lines for them and Yun, all this in time for the PTB to drop on my reading week too. Awesome

Map is super hype, I think everyone wanted a map with the all-kill chapter when it came out so it's gonna be good to see it in the game finally. As for the rework, I'm curious what they're planning. I'm thinking it'll be more interesting than just a revert back to six blades to injure and slower throw rate, but who knows.

Both the P100 reward & the MMR rework's release dates are slated as both being ''adjusted ETA'' under the Feb & onward part of that roadmap.
So while not scrapped, we don't know when it'll happen or even have a rough idea of when.

I believe it's still this year, and likely not far off. When they dropped the anti-tunnel/slug update, a dev said they're hopeful the upcoming MMR changes help alleviate some of the issues people face. So the fact that it was even mentioned shows it's being worked on.

Then it has to be either on next chapter release after Comeback, on the mid-chapter inbetween that chapter & the anniversary, or on the anniversary itself.
