Next 2v8 should focusing on more killers and classes, and reworking old mechanics

I’d say we should have a more focus on killers and classes in 2v8 instead of reworking the same classes every iteration, And we should remove the Manuel sprint burst and change it to lithe, and buff killer classes idk why they needed to be changed to begin with, tho everything else is fine, and fix the maps and everything else to fit the 1v4 gameplay when it comes to gens speeds and map changes, also give killers unique addons instead of either nothing or making one randomly busted do this to all of them, give them unique addons like ya did Dracula and Wesker.

    Well devils advocate we do need more killers and classes for variety sake and the only killer that really needs a buff Is Slinger the other changes are unnecessary.

    I think torchbearer should be removed but the flashlight and flashbang ability should be given to scout instead. It would fit perfectly with the class and hovering for a flashlight save compliments the ability to reveal the killer's aura while looking at them, so regardless of them missing or hitting the save they're still adding some form of value to the team, unlike torchbearers who only really benefit from their class if they actually pull off the save. It's a well deserved buff too since scout is probably the second weakest class next to torchbearer anyway.

    I don't think we need any changes on killer outside of more added. My biggest complaint on the killer side is the queue time to get in but honestly, it takes me an average of 2 play while you wait survivor matches to get a killer match, which isn't that bad.

    he's right though. why would I play 2v8 survivor when ST released? we don't know if vecna 2 will disappear like vecna 1, so I have no real desire to play when I'm feeling 1v4 FOMO

    2v8 also doesn't have any of my favourite killers. why would I want to face killers I despise (Wraith, Oni, trapper) when I could play 1v4 and face wholesome Springtrap who is always a barrel of laughs?

    I think they should get rid of killer classes and just have something like you mention about addons. Give each killer a few of their own unique builds instead of overall classes - but this is probably something they needed to do awhile ago, keeps getting more difficult as they add more killers.

    Because that's a personal issue, not about game health. The problem with 2v8 isn't people not playing it, its the difference in where people want to play.

    If you don't want to play killer in 2v8 or 2v8 at all, that's fine, but its not reflective of the BHVR is facing that @Philscooper brings up.

    We don't need to buff killer in general. Only buff the ones that specifically got basically not in 2v8 like DeathSlinger.
    Just stop giga buffing survs to a point it requires no skill to escape.
    I can't play this mod anymore until some changes are made. Killer is too stressful and survs is too boring.

    -Reworking the tonics to have them give something meaningful to killers.
    -Increase gen charges back to 90 or make that you need to repair 10 of these 70 gens.
    -Remove SB on button.
    -Make so cages don't go near a opened gate (or any gate) when the gens are finished.
    -REMOVE ANTI SNOWBALL

    That would be a great start.

    This guy is not a Devil's Advocate. Just a heavily biased surv main.

    JC Glitchmaster gave a good idea for the survs issue.
    The true issue with survs not wanting to play is the lack of options (I kinda like it because I can play a lot of other survs that I have cool skins, but are only p3, but that's just me). What he proposed was let survs pick 3 perks that are NOT anti tunnel or Exhaustion ones.
    AND we should be able to bring BP offerings to 2v8.

    Just play 1v4 then. 2v8 is its own beast, and the appeal is that it isn't 1v4

    We have less variety the more they add killers than they did by limiting killers to just 5 killers.

    Its the same one problem we already have with 1v4, yet we ignore it because of denial, sake of arguement or because addressing it, would mean you would get less killers.

    But who cares, killer queues can be 2 hours if that means every killer is in 2v8 and its extremely survivor sided, because thats the only way we would have time or resources to combat the long killer queues and lack of survivor variety.

    Honestly, I'd rather have a matchmaking time of over two hours than have a terrible gaming experience.

    no, I'm telling you why would anyone want to play survivor now? obviously people are, myself included, I'm just telling you that why these 2v8s are mid from a survivor pov.

    I'm trying to claim that killer diversity helps survivor just as much if not moreso than killers. our friend is tunnel visioning on seeing killer additions in the wrong light and I'm trying to help, as a 100% bloodpoint main that plays all sides
