did seeing teammates perks in-game, mmr rework, and prestige rewards get delayed again?
just finished watching the community stream and there was no mention of these coming in the next PTB. in the last roadmap we got back in August, it was stated that seeing teammates perks, mmr rework, and prestige rewards were coming in this update. please tell me it’s supposed to be a surprise shadow drop and not another delay on them… we were originally supposed to have these in the game by december :( I’ve been really looking forward to seeing teammates perks for a while, just release it already😭.
if they aren’t in this update, the earliest would be the April update, which is disappointing to say the least.

Most likely cancelled at this point. The MMR rework was part of that "Quality of Life chapter", and we keep getting new chapters one after another without them even mentioning anything about finishing what they started. I guess it's now a taboo topic in BHVR, never to be brought to light ever again.

It was canceled.
Until Anniversary when they trot it out as a promise to be worked on for the next year.

- In your opinion, is it more important to rework Trickster (and therefore more skins and related earnings) or make an improvement to SoloQ? I think the answer is pretty simple. I'm sure he and Adriana were conceived as great sources of income, but since both were problematic (for different reasons), they need to fix that and try to make them competitive again. Their aesthetic screams "money."

This is why everyone should completely ignore these meaningless “roadmaps”. They have been empty promises for years and this time is no different. For those few of you who were still trusting that MMR rework was actually being actively worked on, it’s time to say “I told you so”.

Their focus is entirely on new chapters, it seems. The bug reports are already too backed up to address fully and if I'm not mistaken Mandy said the ST chapter was only going to focus on itself. At least 2v8 got some changes, but where will we be once it's gone again?

Anyone remember the May 2019 roadmap setting the goal of 60 frames across all platforms? Like a year and a half later or so they admitted they just could not do it.

No, they just forgot about it like they forgot about 80% of all the stuff they announce in their roadmaps.
Just like they forgot about the map rework for backwater swamp.

i feel like I'm taking crazy pills for wanting people to leave if they hate my loadout so much.
as a bird main, I'm tired of constantly seeing survivors run killers to the basement to point at me and throw temper tantrums. let these sore losers just dodge and spare us the grief.

Oof I remember this. This was such a let down. DbD's graphics are not anywhere close to impressive enough for 60 FPS to be a difficult goal to reach.

If I recall their response, it wasn't the capabilities of any of the consoles themselves preventing it.
Apparently there's an issue with their coding that creates a resource bottlenecking problem that's insurmountable. This is why DBD is an unusually voracious gobbler of resources that even the strongest PC's can still feel. No other game I've played has such hitching and lagging within its own menus let alone in-game. 😕

Of course they delayed it.
Because broad generalizations for new players (who will get frustrated and leave anyway because the tutorial sucks and MMR sucks too) is WAY more important than a prestige rework or an update to the MMR.

Rephrasing perk descriptions and changing aura colors is apparently a higher priority than rewarding players for investing hundreds of hours in characters or making the game more fun and fair with the mmr rework. Likely completely forgotten, like so many things before. Makes me very sad.

And it’s not even like it would take that much work to do. Literally just using the existing emblem system to calculate your score and progress towards higher MMR would be far better than the garbage system of “escapes = skill” that we have been stuck with for years now.

Just amazing. What game health updates were delivered in Project Health again? Slightly tweaked some numbers on abandon? Randomly spun the wheel on pallet generation and then left it with Midwich having only five total pallets?

i mean if u dont do a rework for mmr i will with all honesty do a 50 winstreak on all killers and upload the vod and claim KILLER IS EZ MODE, even tho i could go to a 100 or more, it would be waste of time, 50 is already too high, and i also have a life outside of the game, many people did it already btw, im not something new, the only difference would be that i would personally claim that killer is ez mode.

There should never be any prestige awards due to how many people just cheat and get a ton of bloodpoints or copy a modded file with all of the characters maxed out. All that would do is reward cheaters with bragging rights.

even if we do get what we were promised, killer mains wouldnt allow it.
we couldnt even get a smoke-bomb, that was enough to shout "nerf it to the ground bhvr"
a smoke-bomb. one of the most useless items in the game, weaker than medkits, weaker than toolboxes.
but kaneki gets to stay s-tier and on the top bracket, bugged and exploited for 9 months with no kill-switch in sight.0
