Deadzone slider and response curve for controllers

Today i really got excited for the trickster rework PTB, but i also Remembered that after It will come out live i and probably almost all console player won't be able to enjoy this because dbd, in 2026, still doesn't support a deadzone slider and response curve for the controller Stick in the in game settings, the game since release has been stuck with the default aiming settings the dev choose and let's be real if you want to be a good ranger killer main don't even bother, i own a pro controller that let me adjust the deadzone and response curve in on itself, and even with that it's really sluggish and sticky with the aiming, i remember asking this exact question to pope on twitter months ago and It got my hopes up cause he responded about talking with the team about this issue, i really Hope Is in the work and if it's not, i hope this post will shine a bit of light into this issue that i don't see enough people talking about

have been asking for this since i have been on these forums, good luck lol

Seriously though, nothing against the Community Mods here - they can only gather the Feedback and forward it but even if the devs want to do it, they Need approval from the higher ups etc. and history has Shows that accessibility features need a veeeery long time.

Best chance would be to get their big content creative partners to actually start to talk about these things more often and actually strongly to spread awareness. It kinda worked for Colorblind mode and now customizable aura colors pretty much that way it seems

for years the sensitivity on console has been garbage. 100% feels like 10% on keyboard and mouse it’s honestly sad for a game that’s about to be 10 years old.
