Eruption should get a buff.

Eruption is a very overestimated perk. It takes so much time damaging multiple gens if you want to get the maximum value of the perk and still have to down a survivor to just get miserable 10% damage, which is only 9 charges. Most of the time you will damage only one gen because you don't have time to damage multiple gens. It should really get a buff. Besides all that, this perk also consumes two charges of the anti-trigen system, which is very bad.

It would be good enough, if it didn't eat regression charges like crazy…

It's not good enough to use on it's own, but it's good in combination with other kicking perks like Nowhere to hide.
Buffed pop will also make it better, where you have chance survivors will not let go and reveal aura for you, so you can then go there and pop the gen (if you wait a bit, then also apply eruption to it again).

That’s not exactly a fair take. You can stack gen speeds perks and toolboxes.

Eruption could use some love mostly do to how it affects the 8 gen kick limit.

  • As survivor, majority of killers that wipe out the most try-hard teams I've been on have at least 1 perk slot with Eruption. I personally think it's just decent on fast killers, but on M1s you'd be better off replacing it with Surge if you're so hell-bent on a perk that makes gens explode.

That's jus my opinion not stating it as a fact.

I'd worry Eruption might become too good if it's just flat buffed, so I'd sooner look at a rework of some sort to make it a bit smoother to use.

Maybe something in the vein of kicking generators with it active not applying direct regression, but in exchange the delayed explosion takes off more progress + the scream and aura is in a radius instead of just being whoever's actively repairing at the time?
    Just spitballing there.

To be fair, toolboxes stacked with things is currently a gigantic problem, so I think it's fair to say it just cuts both ways there.

the perk is fine as it is, in some cases even busted if used on pop pain res dms blight players, it def should not get a buff.

So then there is no problem buffing those perks too, right?

I don't really agree, being able to regress multiple generators at once is highly effective and it has good synergy with other gen-kicking perks. Using 2 regression events is a fair tradeoff for that imo, you're still getting the base damage and you're getting bonus regression later, and I'd be concerned about it being too good for 3 genning again if it didn't work that way. I think Eruption is fine the way it is

Correct. Buff one side you must buff the other. Killers it shouldn’t apply to are Krause, Nurse, Blight, Ghoul.

So you are saying the perk is busted because of one killer? That makes no sense. It's the same thing I say Dissolution is broken because it is strong on Krasue.

For how quickly it burns the regression events the perk can easily be like 25 % total progress.
