remove the prompt for teammates to open a locker if someone is already in it
nobody likes to play with a salty kid who rats out his teammates to the killer, just remove it

the killer is patrolling my gen with 1 gen left in a 2v1, so i hide in a locker inbetween and then my teammate starts spam oppening my locker and we both die, just remove the #########

Removing it would not have any effect of being able to rat someone out tho.
They can still point at the locker and if the killer is not nearby they can just go to nearby locker or vault and make loud noise notifications.12 -
I always find it funny if i see somebody opening a locker with somebody in it.
I like the animation.

No I like it
Because I hate when I've been getting chased long enough to complete all 5 gens and when I'm on hook, I see 1 teammate who never is on a gen but always hiding from locker to locker or the corner of the map. They are actively throwing the game. They want everyone else to die so they can get the hatch but they won't help anyone escape.
So guess what happens if I get lucky enough to get off hook and find them? Straight to that Locker. Point point, open open.
It's okay though, because usually when I give chase long enough for people to do all the gens, the killer hates me even though I don't BM. So the person who threw the game for the rest of us usually ends up with the salty killer's sympathy or appreciation for being useless. I wish I could report those players for working with the killer, it's basically what they're doing by selling selfishly.

I think it's fine. There's nothing in the game that says you aren't allowed to rat someone out. It's only "teaming" if you consistently help the killer take out the other survivors. Ratting one person out to try and sneak away in the chaos that ensues is fine.

The funniest time this happens is when a surv uses that perk that opens lockers as they run past and reveals a survivor inside 🤣

Just to point out that removing this would just make it easier to find and rat somebody out. Now you have to try open the locker but if you would not be able to even get the prompt it would just make it easy to see if someone is in the locker by just running past it.

That’s why I keep wishing DBD had a better matchmaking layer that groups players by playstyle and contribution, not just by the final escape or death. Put the locker goblins with other locker goblins and let them experience what that match feels like when nobody touches gens. That alone would fix a lot of the frustration without needing weird UI changes.
Same idea with cheaters, if the game ever gets good at detecting them, I would rather see them quietly pooled together than repeatedly poisoning normal matches. Other games have done variants of that for years.

It's a fun animation and removing it wouldn't help because people would still point out the locker.
