Is the Entity growing soft?
From what I recall, the Entity would never allow killers to meet each other, and I always interpret it as the entity being worried that if all the killers joined forces they can possible fight back or weaken it. The Entity would make sure to keep the killers under control and have them focused on their objective of killing survivors. So why then recently, are the Nurse and Wraith a couple? Has the Entity allowed killers to spend time with each other and build meaningful relationships, or are the killers doing this against the Entity's will? We see in cosmetic that the Wraith has the Nurse's heart physically in his weapon, so they must have been together. Could this be the Entity allowing killer's to enjoy other activities that don't benefit it, or just the killer's being able to bend the rule's established by the entity?

I think most the killers are far too weak to fight back anyway. Except maybe Spirit because in her lore it was stated her rage was too much for the Entity to control
A dark Fog slowly veiled her eyes, but it could not subdue her rage. She would not rest--not yet. The darkness whispered, promising blood and revenge.
An oath was made and Rin closed her eyes.

The Huntress was also too powerful for the Entity to fully control. Her first perk literally says that she loses her connection to the Entity.

@Orion Which coincidentally means all other killers with this perk can lose connection. But I think all killers are too broken to make use of that fact, still going for the kill.

Because they didn't.
Think of it as... skins. Alternate ideas. They have never actually met.
Devs also never actually said Nurse and Wraith are couple. They said it'd be "nice", not "yes". Probably in the context of Sally and Philip being a couple, not Nurse and Wraith.

Where does it say that's the nurses heart?. I'm also assuming the killers might cross paths but just like the survivors they too can get lost in the fog. Really the killers are prisoner just as much as the survivors

Okay, well this that assumption, couldn't we also assume the 2 killers got into a little and the wraith took it as a trophy?

I'm just gonna assume the cosmetics aren't canon.

That sucks, would have added more lore to the game but its whatever

I am sorry for not so relevant question but I can't open threads atm. Where does entity take survivors that die on hook?

Back to the campfire.

She isn't growing soft, if anything she is getting stronger and more strict on her servants. The only reason she allowed The Wraith and The Nurse to be together is simply because she could sense the strong emotion between the two, which is why she allowed them to be together.

The cosmetics should be thought of like Overwatch cosmetics. Taken with a grain of salt, but still possible of lore. These skins are definitely "grain of salt" costumes. But MAYBE that's what Nurse looks like under her hood.
And of course, Toxicette and Natural Habitat Dwight aren't actually Vigo's apprentices, their costumes are just lore. I suppose you could try and go the extra mile and say that when Dwight and Claudette wear the Vigo cosmetics, they resemble the original wearers, but that is stretching it...

"She"
Also, "Detective", what are your sources?
You seem to have a habit of spewing your personal theories on a Lore thread and not back up your claims/theory with evidence...

Actually thats not correct. Killers see eachother in the fog. They usually run across eachother somewhere in the murky mist. If the entity does limit this, it has nothing to do with the killers fighting back. Its more likely because a killer like Hag (Eaten by cannibals) would absolutely SHRED The Cannibal if she ran across him knowing he was a cannibal. Other killers could have negative feelings towards other killers. So the entity most likely limits who can run across who. The Nurse and Wraith would have no reason to hate each other. So they likely developed feelings while running into each other a lot.

"The Huntress was also too powerful for the Entity to fully control"
I think it's more due to her primal mind, who get easily lost in frenzy than an excess of power.

The Hillbilly is arguably even more feral, having had no real human contact since the day he was born (I mean, his parents literally walled him in), but he's still well under Her control.

Even if she wanted to, Don't forget that The Entity is very strong and omnipotent, if anything she could just toss her into The Void and pick someone better. She doesn't care about the killers, she only sees them as workers that will one day not be of any use to her.

The Entity’s control is honestly irrelevant. The killers are not going anywhere unless it chooses to release them.
Besides, people tend to miss the part where each new sacrifice brings more power to the Entity. Just because it has lost control does not mean it will not regain it.

ya i still dont see how the entity could have a gender whatsoever especially since we dont even know what the entity is

I'll always keep referring to this screenshot i took from the wiki. As the person who made it is actually fluent in French.

Maybe the Entity just dressed them up and little outfits and said they liked each other, despite them both going "wait who the ######### is wraith/nurse".

I think entity was a root of killer's power they (killer and survivor) were live in their normal life.

But given that the entity feeds on powerful emotions and can replicate killers and survivors infinitely throughout space and time, would it not stand to reason the entity would actually want that to happen?

If I'm correct, the feminine noun in french can also sometimes refer to the name of an object, so the female entity is wholly speculation
