Bring back ability to Mori a Survivor in front of last hooked Survivor
Since Survivors can abandon in this scenario already, it would be nice to have it back.
I personally never got to do it as Killer but always found it entertaining as Survivor since I was dying anyway - it was fun to watch the Killer bring the final Survivor to where I was hooked to watch the Mori.
The way it currently works:
When 2 Survivors remain with one on the hook and one in the dying state, the hooked Survivor is sacrificed the second the Killer presses the button to Mori the dying Survivor.
The way it used to work:
Same scenario except the hooked Survivor would not be sacrificed until the Mori animation was completed.
Since either scenario allows the Survivor to abandon, there's nothing to lose by bringing this back. I miss it.

They need to add 10 second grace period before the abandon option comes available after the requirement is met but still I don't like to waste more of the other survivors time to carry them to a hook to show them mori.

Everyone has different views on what could count as toxicity in the game. Some see humping on the ground as something funny to laugh at, while others consider it a fully reportable offense. Bringing the mori to the survivor on the hook just so they can watch would be another thing considered toxic to some, as most don't even want to stay for their own mori especially if the killer is trying to make it personal.

I totally agree.
The only reason I thought this could come back is because at the second the last standing Survivor is downed, both have the abandon option so nobody has to stay, whereas something like being humped on the ground doesn't allow you to abandon.
I always thought it was twisted in a horror sense and I miss it. I think I'm in the minority though as I'm someone who refuses to abandon even in a 4 man slug situation.

If you do end up in a situation with the whole team is slugged very early, its recommended to abandon as the warning for throwing the game, or even penalties, has happened to people that didnt abandon.

But it says i will lose match progress so if I completed a quest prior to the slug I'd have to do it again.

You do not lose anything on an abandon. Only from dc directly

What is match progress then? Do I still get XP towards shards?

My guess as to whats meant by match progress is anything you wouldve earned after staying like bigger emblems/more bloodpoints etc. And once a rounds done either with abandon or death you still get xp for shards. The fact that abandon alredy causes different things to happen compared to a dc, makes it capable of preserving more of what you earned without penalizing you in any way. If people were losing out on stuff everytime they abandon you wouldnt see so many people not even hesitate to push the button lol
