Custom Match killer ai and the return of the Fog to Mobile

look, many can criticize me for this, or the few can like this post, I just want to bring it up. The mobile version was enjoyable, and had features that I wish to see in the console pc version. One such feature is the Custom Game AI players for BOTH survivor AND killer. I understand the complexity of the task, I do. As someone who’s coded before I understand how difficult the task would be, having to account for the abilities and timing of such. I KNOW the ask for killer ai is a lot, and I understand it’s not on y’all’s high priority list. I ask you reconsider this. I know I would prefer feature addons than cosmetics, while cosmetics are cool and all, the base game is what I play for. I would be happy to spend money on all that, AFTER Custom Games are fully completed. Who wouldn’t want to show off their skins or such to their friends? But who also would want to be stuck playing against people who are generally not friendly and make the game harder and not enjoyable? Albeit, there are those people that also make the game fun, they are few and far between from what I’ve played, on both sides. All I ask for custom games is killer ai, and a difficulty modifier for both sides, like increasing or decreasing detection range or making the abilities far more effective the higher the difficulty. You already have a good start with having survivor ai and on top of that being able to modify their perks and items. I wholeheartedly applauded each of your programming members for that. Now if we can apply it to killer ai and have them, then it will make getting back into dbd so much more enjoyable. New players can practice against killers and get to know them, especially if you add the option of choosing what killer the ai plays. Mobile HAD ai for both sides, so it is possible for it to port to console and pc, and I highly valued those matches and they made me good at the game when it came to online matches, which becoming skilled seems to be everyone’s goal.

Now, for bringing back mobile. Yes, there were performance issues and we could go on all day about them, but so many people have requested the return to mobile that it has me wondering what else the reason was for shutting down the servers. It’s an additional money outlet for y’all, even if you made the game free and added the cross progression, people would still pay for cosmetics, and especially pay for mobile exclusive items, killers, and modes giving more incentive on playing mobile as well, which with the game being free anyone can get it and get those items. I’ve heard keeping servers up cost money, but I think the money you’d make off the game can offset the costs. Granted, your team is limited and you have people to pay and not drive into exhaustion. Fair, that’s general business and I respect it. But if you managed to keep the code for mobile, then the relaunch could potentially not be as exhausting or time consuming as you think. Granted having to keep up with the multitude of games you have is a task and a half, I think y’all have proven yourselves capable of multitasking games. Mobile was fun and very conventional for those who can’t afford the very expensive pc’s and consoles on top of the game itself and all its many chapters. I recommend bringing it back, it could be beneficial both financially and the fan base would be eternally grateful for its return, giving more incentive to spend money through fundraising and donations. I would happily donate say a couple hundred for releasing mobile and adding Killer ai to the game once more with all the options I listed above. Heck, you put out a poll for the mobile release and it will end with the rerelease being popular. I don’t know about the killer ai, but I would personally pay for it.

Now im not saying go and make a donation thing for bringing these features and rerelease, that’s a rather annoying move, but at least consider it, and add an optional donation location for those that want your company to be successful. I know I do. Please, if any of your PR or anyone who reads these if anyone does reads this, please consider making these a higher priority, bring them back soon, work on the game, not on the cosmetics and micro transactional items. Please!
