Please Explain this 3gen spawn

not only the map was really bad overall with very little defense, but this 3gen should be illegal, what is this? can somebody explain where is it fair to have such 3gen spawn? a vecna(henry) can sit in main and spam powers on the gens forever, singularity can simply tp and get free hits and downs, especially with surge, blight/ghoul/nurse/billy and such killers would easily stomp by sitting on those 3gen, especially if running pop or some 3gen regression build or dragon grip etc, like what is this. this 3gen make zero sense, this spawn locations should be fixed asap.

0 hooks, over half of your gens done, did you all escape?

I don't understand how its so hard to not make the gens spawn so close together the killer can just stand in one spot to pressure them all.

Its been years and dead dog still has the one in the corner where killer can just stand on top of gallows and pressure three sometimes 4 gens.

DND map has the rancid one down stairs where the killer can legit guard the only two entry points to the area by standing in one spot

good luck breaking theses sorts of 3 gens against a lot of killers and even more so against mobility and ranged killers who are properly playing gen defense, its the most boring, dragged out thing if you decide to try and break it.

At this point it would be less time-consuming to handcraft every map instead of fixing the rng system. But i guess the least amount of work would be leaving a bad rng-system in the game and dont care about it.

The spawn locations of the new blood pumps are sometimes really bad. They all or 3 of them spawn on one side of the map and two blood gens on the other side. (worst examples were west RPD and Yamaoka temple for me)

Regarding Blood Pumps - had a game yesterday were all 4 Blood Pumps spawned between the Water Tower and Shack on Dead Dawg. And then people say Blood Gens are quick when you have to carry the Blood over the full map.

When it comes to spawns and RNG - I am a big fan of reducing RNG by a lot. RNG was fine when the game came out, it featured only 3 Realms with 4 Maps each. Completely fine to have RNG. But nowadays we have 21 Realms and 46 maps. This is more than enough to have variety in the game (when they finally would remove boosted maps…) without any need to rely on RNG which can screw you over. E.g. I think there should be no Hook-RNG, Hooks should always spawn at the same locations. Yes, Oaks exist, but those should be removed anyway. And of those Hooks, there should be a certain amount of Hooks which can be Scourge Hooks to lower the RNG there as well.

Gens should have minimal RNG, their locations should always be roughly the same. They can be a bit more apart or a bit closer to each other, but thats about it.

Tiles should have minimal to no RNG to avoid maps being strong for Survivors in one game and then weak in the next game. And so on.

Usually when I get this map, this is the first 3 gen I try to break.

It doesn't help the map isn't very good to begin with for either side. Loops aren't very interesting, and gen placement is well… You showcased it.

Egregious 3 gens like this are a product of maps being too small, more than from RNG. Dead Dawg and RPD have some of the least procedural generation and still have awful 3 gen spawns because they're simply too small to properly space out 7 generators. Coal Tower and Fallen Refuge have a bit more RNG but also have horrible gen spawns due to just being too small.

For a 10 year old title with essentially 1 game mode (with occasional slight event variations) I don't support making matches even more homogenized.

i wish the devs would go back and show this map the love it deserves. it has always felt like a rushed, unoriginal map to me. hell, the only reason i knew it was the walking dead map on release was because the of door inside main.
