OMG Are We Going To Do It?
For the first year ever… are we going to hit the final milestone with a ton of time remaining? Usually, we hit it with like 2-3 days left, but I think we're actually going to do it this year. Not gonna lie, I know there's people out there who don't think perks should affect blood gens, but think about it. It's not a coincidence that perks all of a sudden affect the event gens and all of a sudden we're speeding through damaging/repairing blood gens. That's not a coincidence. Like the event has been going for barely 48 hours and we're already halfway to the next bonus which is 4x. Last year I don't think we hit that until at least a week into the event, but likely longer. Be mad, but perks affecting gens was the best thing for the blood moon event for these goals to be obtainable early instead of just possible for the event as a whole.

Makes sense, I've been running into a lot of surge, eruption and pain res this event.

In my opinion perks should have always effect the blood gens and thats why the matches are way more interesting this year than they were last. Last year it was blood gens getting popped always as killer rarely could stop survivors from popping them fast.

Right cause those perks are already "interesting" in the regular queue

Someone said that the progress is way further along this year because we have gen perks to account for and BHVR (in BHVR fashion) didn't account for the huge increase in progress on the Killer end. I think we'll be at 500% by Monday TBH. Which is a genuine dream come true because that means we'll have roughly 2 full weeks of endless BP.
Watch them panic and do the worst thing ever and double the requirements lol

"Due to how fast the community obtained the 5x bonus, we are unlocking the rest of the challenges and shortening the event! It will now end in 3 days. Happy Blood Moon Event everyone!" - what they would do

I mean, they also could have just tuned the milestones down if they were that worried about attainability. :P

But these dont effect bloodgens I belive, only the ones with that orange mark?

No the orange arrow down means they have something that does not effect bloodgens. All perks that are without the mark means they work normally and if they are gen perk they work on all gens. Its mainly there to mark the part of the perk that happens when survivor is fixing the gen itself. So for example their aura showing or getting skill checks as blood gens don't have skill checks. Call of Brine has the arrow because of the skill check part not the regression being faster. The regression still will be stronger you just don't get the secondary ability because they don't get skill checks.

So I missread it, well the explaining is kinda poor Im shocked they dont show it in some picture like they had for chaos shuffle where was which addons will be aviliable for killers.
I didnt even found the explenation in event info, so thanks for info

Just hover over one of the perks and you will see extra text saying with the arrow mark next to it "This perk has limited compatibility with this game mode" so they are clearly stating that part of it will not work on bloodgens. If the perk would not work at all they would disable it in the mode but all the perks involved partly do work even with the mark.

Considering the increase is bringing in more players, I really don't think they'll double the requirements that sounds insane, they'd get roasted.

They won't if they have even an ounce of self-preservation. However, next year? Oh you bet it's going to be doubled if not tripled what we had to do this year.

I hope not because this Blood Moon is actually fun and feels so good because it felt obtainable early so we can take full advantage of it. It felt so horrible to take until the last 72 hours to get the good rewards.
