Option to turn off Mori scenes

While I find the Mori scenes quite good, I was wondering if it would be possible to add an option to skip the scene to save time but also for the game to be less gorey for younger players or even kids watching around an adult, the rest of the game is fairly mild so not an issue by comparison.

Because not every adult enjoys gore either and other games with similar themes have the option to turn gore off, it has nothing to do with the age rating.

You assume I have it, my suggestion was to allow expanded player base for those who dislike gore, general gameplay isn't that bad but the mori scenes are different.

    if you have hemophobia

How can an IF question assume anything?

You are not addressing my question at all,
Why would players who dislike gore play dbd, a game which so obviously cater to slasher and horror themes?

I do like this idea! When I am a survivor and about to get moried, I usually have the option to leave the game(bot), and I usually do that, just to get faster to the next game.

But if there were a option to skip spesific animations, like second hook (is usually give me dissiness). And a option we all get when a mori is about to start, if we want to see it or get kicked to the endgame screen.

There should also be an option to turn hooks into large candy canes so the hooks aren't to gory as well

Young ones or kids should not even be watching the game much less viewing it. I am heavily against the option of Mori's being turned off. A lot of time is put into them and the animations. Let's not erase that work.

I love moris, particularly pinheads and plagues but some of the recent ones have been brutal. I don't really care to see houndmasters, singularitys or unknowns.

I would not hate the idea to be honest. I look at Moris once and afterwards I dont need to see them anymore. Not because I cannot handle gore or violence, but mainly because I think that most recent Moris are pretty cringe. I know that they have become more brutal, but this makes them look more silly than anything else.

However, you can abandon to not see the Finisher Mori and I think this is enough. Sure, this does not apply to regular Moris, but I think those are rare enough that this would not justify the work to implement an option to skip the Mori scenes.

It's not erasing anything to have an option switch, those who like it keep it on, those who don't turn it off...simple really.

There is an option. As a survivor, you just leave in the Mori - Most Survivors do. As a killer, you can just not Mori.

Sorry OP, I can't back this one. There are already options present and putting a Mori option off switch in the game would be intensive given you can mori mid match, and no one wants to give the killer a speed up as that animation lock can be useful time to burn a gen down or escape. You have tools available to you if you dislike it. Asking for additional tools for hemophilia, children, or distaste isn't particularly valid. Children shouldn't be playing, hemophiliacs should know not to, and distaste would be the same.

Changing the game for people who would ritualistically avoid games like this is added work for precious little benefit. Just skip the Mori's or don't do them.
