Pallet saves need to be reverted to what they used to be.
pallet saves, something that took skill have basically been silently removed from this game. You can be downed in the middle of a pallet and the killer can block both prompts from either side of the pallet now. Why has this happened. It sucks.

It feels the same to me

They are.

Also have to say, I did not notice any difference. Pallet Saves are rare, but they still exist and still work as before, from what I have seen. The Killer was always able to block the prompt of dropping a Pallet, if they were too close to the side you wanted to drop it from.

they’ve made it harder since patch 9.5.1. The prompt can often disappear. I used to be able to vacuume into the pallet to save but now often the killers hit box stops this from happening. It was a silent buff to killers. Not surprised though in this game.

Before the change the killer had no hitbox while picking up. So he couldnt bodyblock the pallet. I dont know how long it was like that (atleast 10 months) bc i didnt work when i started playing 8 years ago. So i never tried it until i saw a streamer do it.

I find it funny because I feel like I could be blocking a prompt and the survivor just clips through my model to drop the pallet. But from what other people are saying they seem to have changed that.

Nope, in fact killer could not.
If survivior dropped the pallet in perfect time, save was possible.
Killer now has somehow increased hitbox on the pallets and prevents us to drop it.
I think this should be reverted too, because something that took time to practice got removed.
Something we had to be really precise or would not work.I've been feeling like those little things that gave flavor to the game are being removed for years now.
- wesker techs
- blight hug tech
- surviviors dropping pallet ability
- increasing flashlight save timing to be more forgiving
Games are being more and more "numb", because everything that's left to do is gens and chases.

I think something that's probably a bug is best not framed as being 'silently removed' like it was a deliberate developer choice. Pallet saves are still possible, they're just weird and janky at the moment like 99% of other things in the game right now. Besides, making pallet saves too mechanically easy is a massive buff to SWF.

Pretty much killer can bodyblock prompt to actions such as droping pallet or vaulting or jumping into hatch since the games release.
Edit: or unhook prompt etc. its been in the game since the start and it only isnt a case when survivor looses colision with killer like with taking damage or some killers using powers like sadako or being chased by knights guard etc.

Pallet saves were not easy. You need precise timing if you do that from the side that killer is in.

A pallet save bug that's never been fixed if you mash m1 while picking up and they drop a pallet on you and it nullifies the stun. Had it happen to me twice this patch

This is actually a bug fix from like years ago. The Killer cannot block both sides of the pallet btw, they can only block 1 side at once.

Yeah it was bugged for like a whole year. I reported it multiple times.

you used to be able to vacuum into a pallet save. Now you cannot.
1 -
Good then that you can't.

Yeah that and there is one for spamming input changes or one of the f keys I'm sure to slow the game down to not acknowledge the stun.
that one might be fixed tho1 -
Originally, that whole thing has been up because of reverse pallet stuns, which were sources of confusion.
To sum up, the issue was "When a survivor stuns a killer, there is a probability for you or the killer to be directed in unatural sides of the pallet, which would either teleport you to the other side of the pallet, or push the killer through it". I have read the thread, and I was like :
So for you, just blocking the prompt because the killer is in there is something…acceptable ? Like… you can use them for their purpose, but not too much ?
Seriously, if we just had a better calculation about which side you are supposed to slip to, the whole thing would have been fixed with no further issue. Behavior is fan of the "something cannot bother me if we just remove it" instead of improving things.

what are you even on about ?
pallet saves feel the same as they've ever been unless you are talking about a specific killer like twins blocking with victor this isnjust wrong0 -
Its because for about a year, it was bugged that if a killer picked up a survivor, they had 0 collision. This was actually why flashbangs were super messed up, because you could face a wall, the survivor could drop the flashbang INSIDE the killer, and would blind them, even if they were facing the wall. You also could just walk through the killer, to the other side of the pallet to drop it.
Now they fixed that, so killer has collision again, this makes it so as a killer if you know someone is going for a pallet save on one side, you can pick up the survivor on that side to body block a save.
Ideally now that this is fixed i think they should unnerf flashbangs, because this was the true cause of why they were a problem before.

So people are mad that a unintentional thing was in the game and the Devs took it out. Is that what this is basically
