Blight killed now 4.4 will no longer be a top tier killer
One of my first steps to leaving dbd permanently. I do not want a killer I’ve played for YEARS to be nerfed to garbage 4.4.

Man what a bad day for all the quad slowdown blights… This and the diminishing return change is a welcome nerf to that playstyle.

Just spam the Forum, works everytime.
(Obviously making him 4,4 is a good Nerf which makes a lot of sense.)
16 -
there is no spam this is probably the biggest nerf in dbd history. Just because survivors can’t hold w and pre drop.
-20 -
No, the Forum will be spammed with Threads that Blight should not be nerfed. It worked twice, it will be tried again. The Nerf is really justified for such a strong power, considering that all other 4.4 Killers are still way weaker than Blight.

Personally think that bnp not instantly finishing gens counts as the biggest nerf in dbd history.
Also there's ghouls from Tokyo and a Hillbilly...so holding W don't seem like a good idea still

Hopefully not a late April Fools prank

ghoul nerfs= aw how sweet
blight nerfs=hello HR?

Momo gonna get every high tier killer nerfed by being to good at the game. If BHVR balances the game around Momo every killer in the game with be D tier by the time they are done
-18 -
The game is not balanced around some weird streamer. Blight receives a Nerf because Blight is too strong, simple as that. And Blight has been strong for years and it is baffling that there were no real Nerfs to him over all those years while other Killers got stronger Nerfs during that time.

I like the rush token loss on pallet break, feels very right for Blight's playstyle and makes forcing pallet break a more viable option for survivors.
As for the 4.4 change, not sure how I feel yet, have to play with it alongside the pallet change before making a proper opinion.

Blight will be much harder to play but i believe they will might add things to make his new player experience better in a future patch. Lets wait and see.

A blight nerf has been extremely necessary for a long time now. Do Nurse next and the killer-balancing bottleneck can finally start to get better.

on the killer side - sorry about that 😆
-5 -
it's been a long time coming, he'll still be strong just not a win condition, after all the power is pretty much unaffected which is why he is good.

”no longer be a top tier killer.” that statement is just bs. he will go from 2nd best killer to 2nd best killer. these nerfs are the bare minimum the devs could’ve done for him. they didn’t touch his addons, cooldowns, rush speed, crazy rush sensitivity on kbm, or his now insane hitbox when hitting a surv with his power. all this does is make him not a regular killer on top of already having a busted power.

im over 12k, blight is my most played killer i swear on my life, this is the best change blight got since release, im very happy now i can play him and not feel like i bully the survivors, W BHVR!

Honestly good changes, these changes are there to punish bad blights that just uses brutal to zone and get easy hits, when good blights that knows how to use power effectively, won’t be affected as much as those trapper blights.
5 -
Finally. He should have been made 4.4 years ago.

When are you ever chasing at 4.6 with Blight? All this does is force the player to use his power, which is fine.
3 -
I think people will be to busy with trying to stop diminishing returns to focus on blight but that's just me

Bad blights that was always there other option if they couldn't get you with his power they just 4.6 you down
2 -
Use your power and instead of brute forcing pallets into power downs in between loops lmfao

"Biggest nerf in dbd history" and it's turning a S Tier Killer to A tier at most let's stop with the overdramatic, He'll still be the 2nd best killer in the game.

Some players imagine that the Blight never needs to walk normally and can do EVERYTHING with his power. That just shows how little they actually know about this killer.
There are many loops around which his power is limited, especially since the developers removed the slide dashes he used to be able to do.
Around those loops, the Blight actually benefits from walking normally, to gain ground and/or force the use of a pallet.
But hey, it’s fine if he moves at 4.4, he still has anti-loop… oh wait, no, he doesn’t… well, no problem, he can throw projectiles… oh wait, no, he can’t either… well, he can at least slow survivors down… oh, nope, still not…

The advice would be valid if the Blight could do everything with his power. That is not the case.

wow like with trickster.
"If they were 4.6 they wouldnt use their power." - No you dinguses, people choose a killer to play to use that power. Why play blight if you dont wanna use rushes?
If anything, the recent trends with gamespeed etc made 4.4 obsolete and all those killers should just become 4.6.

Blight has a power that makes him the fastest killer in the game. He does not need to be a 115%

Oh no, the second best (if not THE best) killer in the game has to work a fraction of an inch harder to secure downs. Oh the humanity, the HORROR! Skillfull downs > > > > whatever the hell he's known for doing now between loops.

As I said : this would be valid if the Blight could do everything with his power. That is not the case.
-2 -
Doesn't make sense, doesn't matter. Is that meant to imply Nurse can do EVERYTHING with her power? What does that even mean???
I love Talbot but let's be perfectly honest with ourselves, he'll be fine and he'll still be a menace.

Unlike Blight, the Nurse has to use her power to attack, as it’s her only way to do so (excluding, of course, troll builds at 4.4/4.6 and survivors who are foolish enough not to run in a straight line or who run back into her arms, allowing her to grab them while moving at 3.8).
Blight, on the other hand, can’t do everything with his power. There are areas where the best strategy is to force the use of a pallet or to gain ground by walking. At 4.4, he will take much longer on these loops to force the survivor to use the pallet, and once it’s broken, he’ll have to keep walking to catch up, since he won’t have all his tokens anymore. Meanwhile, the survivor will have time to reach a new safe area, potentially just as complex for the Blight’s power.
But hey, it was obviously Blight’s fault… it apparently never crossed their minds that being able to stack 4 anti-generator perks might also play a role in all this… instead of balancing perks in general, they nerf (again) a killer. Then again, when you listen to players, it’s never enough… let’s not forget there are still people complaining about Nurse, as if they’d need a Nurse moving at 2 m/s, with only one Blink, and a range of 1 meter.

EVERY killer runs into parts of maps where their power is ineffective or straight up useless. This is not unique to Blight. Why do Blight players insist that they are so negatively affected by maps when it’s clearly worse for lower tier killers? You haven’t even seen nor played as 4.4 Blight but you’re already making up doomsday scenarios in your head. Blight will still be a top 2 killer after the nerfs.
