Most Killers Ain't coming to 2v8
So on the live stream the Devs revealed that most Killers like that are to complex aren't coming to 2v8 like Singularity and Sadako for example they used and they are focusing on the fun killers being added to 2v8
Which I have to disagree with I think most Killers can belong in 2v8 but will need some nerfs or buffs however I do think there will be a few outliers like legion for example.
Killers I do believe can belong in 2v8: Myers, Hag, Doctor, Leatherface, Freddy, Pig, Clown, Demo, Trickster, Pinhead, Dredge, Artist, Knight, Skullmerchant, Xenomorph, Unknown, Lich, Houndmaster, Springtrap, Krasue, The First.
The only other outlier I can see not being added is someone like Plague who could keep all gens and players Infected or have infinite blood vomit.
So please Devs give Killers a chance before you write them off that's what the PTB is for and the community will discuss if a killer should or should not be in 2v8

I would really like to see the majority of killers playable in 2v8 mode.
I would honestly be disappointed if that’s not the case. It’s definitely possible to balance them and find solutions, even for the most complex killers.For example, the interaction between the Dredge and Freddy is actually far easier to handle than players or developers might think.
Scenario 1:
Freddy and the Dredge are not in the same match → no issues at all with their powers.Scenario 2:
Freddy and the Dredge are in the same match →
When Nightfall is triggered, the Dream World is temporarily disabled.
All sleeping survivors are immediately awakened during this period.
Once Nightfall ends, affected survivors return to the Dream World.
This completely solves the issue.This also avoids any sound-related conflicts between the Dredge’s power and Freddy’s audio cues.
Another specific killer: Vecna (Henry)
Vecna should not cause any issues with either the Dredge or Freddy. The only overlap would be the clock sound. Freddy’s visual filter would naturally take priority over Vecna’s.
Awake survivors would see Vecna’s filter, while sleeping survivors remain in the Dream World.
Vecna’s clock UI would still be visible at the top of the screen for all survivors.
They would hear Freddy’s lullaby (“La La La La…”) along with Vecna’s ticking clock.No issues here either.

I mean yeah killers should have a chance to be in 2v8 and a lot of the world altering killers can be fixed when in the same match

Mayers? I doubt that not untill they get his licence back because now he is just dead weight and they cant use him in other modes I think especisly when there are other licenced killers like RE killers and chucky,dracula or phead I font see it possible now saddly.

Other thing is giving these killers good adjustments for 2v8 like if we look at slinger, pyramidhead, ghostface and other killers their buffs arent enough to wait 30 minutes to get a single match dith them where half of the survivors run sprintburst on command and are totaly power crept by other killers do to map size like if you dont play wraith,spirit,nurse,blight,dracula,wesker,oni,billy than you will have way harder than playing these killers and reason is obvious good map mobility plus chase power and all can catch to a survivor with their powers or totsly wreck them in chase compare to snsil like nemi or slinger.

Like who was expecting all of them to be included. Some can't because of license issues and others would be hard to fit to make their powers work in it.

They never said "we will never add _____ because its too complicated or not fun" they just said thats why they are taking longer to add than others. Legion was a tested example of how it will never be fun for both sides. Tested and proven to be a problem for 2v8. They havent tested any others out that would be "not fun" yet, and the combos that do exist like oni, are being tweaked and nerfed on the go. So i am not expecting them to go " we arent adding _____ because its too complicated or not fun" until they test it in 2v8 and the community doesnt like it.
