My thoughts on survivors knowing the killers identity from the start of the trial.
As someone who loves playing stealth killers, this bothers me. The biggest allure to playing as a stealth killer is the survivors not knowing at the very start. Sure, after a few seconds of survivors not hearing a terror radius, they begin to assume it's a stealth killer, but they still don't know which one, so they don't know exactly what to look out for yet. With this, survivors can look in the menu, see that the killer is playing Myers or Ghost Face and go "Okay, when on a generator, immediately be on the spot that gives me priority when it comes to line of sight." While most survivors, myself included, do that anyway, sometimes you don't think about it, so you get caught out by it, and now you're exposed by Ghostie or Myers now has Evil Incarnate. Then you learn to take line of sight into account for the rest of the trial.
My suggestion: Keep that screen, it's good for solo queue. However, adjust it so the killer's identity remains hidden until the first time a survivor sees them. Using the same system that removes Ghost Face from Night Shroud. Since by then, people in SWFs have already called it out.

I think hidden until a trigger like first chase would be fine since that would be the same as swf call out. It's too bad they can't make pointing at killer/killer item be what triggers an announcement to team who the killer is - could even tie it to a scoring event like "first to identify killer."

Me i just wont look at the menu anymore until the match is done. The suprise is what makes the game good. Yes its good for new players to learn killer powers but it beats the purpose of hiding the killer in the menu.
Id say if someone sees or starts chase with the killer it should be fine.

I can't say I care about this one way or another. They can keep it or dump it. I generally don't start doing anything worthwhile until i know both who and where the killer is. The only killer that isn't obvious right away is GF, and if I don't see pig boxes or hear Micheal tier up, I can guess it's probably him. Scratched Mirror, which I sometimes still play, is an exception, but this won't tell you that's what's in play, so it'll still be a surprise when he pops out with no global sound cue.
That's a great idea.

It effects more killers like ghostface, wraith, mayers (when he sint tiering up and sneaks up to someone) others have some part of their stealth revealed like by lulaby on sadako or pig has boxes (on pig stealth is almost never used to its potencial because it sucks) but if you show it even if first chase its better option but still nerf because if that killer doesnt reveal himself like myers getting surprise hit when being tier 1 and thanswitching for tier 2 chase mode to get down he will loose total surprise for another survivors who is like half or whole map away and has no clue who killer is.

Thats makes even less sense. Youre mostlikely to know much faster if its a stealth killer or not. It literally wont change much at all.

I don't care what killer you are, if you haven't done anything in the first minute of the game, you are doing something wrong.
