DBD 2026 is obnoxious af

Pallet density, 15sec haste+endurance on unhook basekit even endgame, exhaustion every 20 seconds because yes hold W to win, gen speed is so trivialized that 2 min games are a thing now and don't you dare say the 4 in 1v4 should cooperate to win instead of winning only on perks because soloq bots DC at the first inconvenience, diminishing returns was barely talked about and I already can say it won't do ######### to survs

I’m sorry, but it’s not at all clear what you’re trying to get at; it lacks development.

For example, you could, for each point, explain what you think is wrong, why it’s a problem (with clear and specific examples), and suggest what would be, in your opinion, a viable and sustainable alternative.

I'm not sure that's entirely true, sure I also don't agree with some of their opinions but considering we've had countless nerfs to both killer and survivor or systems scrapped (remember the original finisher mori system)

I think it's safe to say they do cater to both sides, also if they listened to killer mains Fast Track and Hyperfocus/Stake out would be deleted

Edit: Nvm Fast Track is getting Tweaked so that point is out the window LMAO

Fast Track is simply the flavor of the month to complain about. Hyperfocus shouldn't exist, as it buffs the numerous subtle cheaters within the game with perfect skill checks.

I still want my fog back, which will never come.

I do think fog removal directly affected how the game plays (not necessarily for hiding or whatever) - I don't feel like diving into it necessarily, but coming from 2022 and all the way to 2026, you can tell the identity shifted.

I think if I talked to 2022 CautionaryMary, I would be surprised on how much horror aspects Behavior took out of the game. I think a major issue with DBD, especially going into 2026 is clip farming in all honesty on both ends.

I liked 2022 because you could rotate and it actually being meaningful. I really despise how bright the game is, even if the addition of fog vials. I just wish the game would lean into its horror aspect instead of whatever 2026 DBD is.

I remember in the past I'd be jumpscared and actually feeling the horror, you cannot feel the same with how it is now - it just becomes more efficient, micro focused gameplay but I think that's the main issue DBD has compared to other asyms - you're stuck in a situation where every micro decision you do impacts the trial, hence why gen rushing and tunneling/slugging is prevalent at high MMR.

I wish the game was more macro focused, but the general gameplay loop that Behavior is and has shifted over the years makes it highly improbable.
