I do not think the nurse is op, but the add-ons that increase the range definetly are, here's why

i do not know the exact numbers, but let's say by default the charge time is 2 seconds to reach the max distance you can travel, it takes 1 second to reach this distance, we'll say 30 meters,


2 seconds to charge it, + 1 second to reach it, you have the time to change your direction and avoir being hit, you can counter by going back in her direction and so ruin her blink, it's fair and it counters,

BUT


the add-ons that increase the range of the blink, and supposedly decrease the accuracy, which btw, does nothing at all, let's say both of them increase the max range to 55 meters, but the time to charge the blink and the time it take to reach the max distance is the same, it still takes 2 seconds to charge, and takes 1 second to reach the 55 meters, so if the survivor is in front of you, let's say 15 meters, well you don't have to hold it for 1 second and wait half a second to reach the survivor, since it will take you less than half a second to charge and 1/4 of a second to reach the survivor, so these 2 add-ons combined just makes any other add-ons that increase the charge time and the travel speed, pointless since the RANGE add-ons, RANGE, makes you go further, quicker, and also makes you travel faster since the charge time and travel time remains the same, these 2 add-ons itself, are OP, since there's absolutely 0 negative to it, and the "blink accuracy" is bull****, either these should not stack, or increase the fatigue time, or inscrease the charge time and decrease the travel speed.


just my opinion, the nurse isn't op, but these 2 add-ons absolutely are

    The range addons still require the same travel time per meter of distance traveled.

    The Nurse moves at 333% MS during Blinks and these addons do not change that.

    So in you situation while yes you wouldn't have to hold the button for as long, the actual time spent moving would be the same (0.5 seconds given your assumed values)

    Btw the actual values are:

    Base distance of 20 meters over about 1.5 seconds

    with both range addons it is 27 meters over about 2 seconds

    These addons don't add THAT much range and aren't any faster than base at covering shorter distances.

    No addon nurse is stronger than any killer. The issue with nurse isn't just because addons can make her blink farther, it's just the fact that vaulting/pallets do not affect her.

    @NuclearBurrito I will be very suprised if it adds just 7 meters. Also there are 3 range addons (Green, yellow and the brown). Which 2 addons are you talking about?

    Regardless, I have heard that these addons are getting reworked so I am not sure if we should argue about these addons.

    We are kind of beating a dead horse here.

    The green adds 4 and the yellow adds 3. Combined is 7

    Nurse does not need addons as it mess with Muscle Memory. Especially extra blinks or distance.


    Charge speed and fatigue is fine enough. Even then, she is the best base killer 2nd to none.

    Nurse is only muscle memory. She is incredibly strong due to her easy way to literally ignore pallets, and safe zones. When playing against a good nurse; it’s really hard to survive, and mindgaming hardly works.

    I think a nurse addon rework is more on a list of things which needs reworks, but doesn't seem like they are active work on, because there are other things with a higher priority. Similar they already want to rework Hillbilly and LF addons.

    Nonethenless it's still usefull to discuss Nurse AddOns especially because they will be reworked some day. A little feedback always help.

    My honest opinion about range addons on Nurse is, that her AddOns shouldn't change the consistency of blinks that much. For me personally Omega blink Nurse is hard to deal with, because she can charge short distance blinks much faster. That shouldn't happen. More range should just mean more max. charge time. keeping charge time and distance more consistent, so as a survivor you have an easier way to say how far/long a nurse will blink by her charging time.
