I don't see why doors are "useless"

by definition, I feel Springtrap's doors are situational. sometimes they help, sometimes the aura doesn't matter. it can hard to say with foresight if bothering is even worth your time. however, I do not believe they are flat out useless like I'm hearing on social media.

there's no way to know if your survivor will go down in 10 seconds anyway, that's just how it is but still, this is an on demand proc of We See You. Anybody who has suffered the wrath of 11 has to understand how oppressive 11 is to face. the aura makes it nearly impossible to try anything. as springtrap, you'll feel compelled to go into a door to shake the aura off.

We can say We See You aura is "merely" bridging solo q and swf together, but callouts still can't trump live, real time data.

I sit on these doors forgetting I have object equipped half the time and I still don't feel at risk. actively using the doors turns the game into drawn out slogs like a Singularity match where you can steadily but slowly make progress with nothing breaking(1 survivor doing emp runs)

I'm not trying to convince anyone to use the doors, because sometimes gens are more important, its just that I genuinely do not feel they do "literally nothing". I feel the gen inefficiency can be worth it for a smoother match. like, imagine trying to loop a survivor at the cryo room on the game vs camera reveal or We See You ...it's hair pullingly frustrating and nearly unpossible.

I swear I see bunny crashouts on the reg they do not appreciate fnaf gamers

if survivors don't go down because of it then what difference does it make? playing against Singularity you can't just ignore emps, against xeno you can't just ignore turrets etc. it's just that with pingtab it's not obvious if the baked in counterplay is helpful or not.(sometimes the auras indeed do nothing, and potentially doing nothing gives people anxiety)

Its not useless just not worth it? Wasting time just to aura reveal for a short time is not worth maybe if it did something more then it would be worth.

I can only speak from my experience, but I despise facing bots in this game; we had a 2v8 where we had to have them and it was miserable. 24/7 wallhacks means you can't do anything but brute force everything because the survivors just mirror your movements perfectly. and perfect auras make us humans play almost as well as bots. I feel that sluggish gameplay shouldn't entirely be dismissed because at the end of the day, killers are still human.

xeno turrets are easy to understand because they act as WoO+Sprint Burst and straight up end or reset chases but you can't hear a killer go "ugh they see me..."

I personally would cry tears of joy if every springtrap knew my name and tried tunneling me off the spawn and I magically had survivors who knew and 2 did the gens with 1 on the doors that'd let me take the killer on a factory tour and almost make me look impressive to the team.

from my experience using scene Partner killers outright refuse to chase me because they know I can see them so I'm forced to leverage that with something like Shoulder, so auras have to be worth something.

EMPs and Turrets actually hinder the killer's power. Getting an aura of Springtrap does not. Sitting on a door is essentially making the game a 3v1 for the killer and we already know that a 3v1 is a strong position for the killer. Not only that but the survivor on the door is extremely vulnerable, because they can get grabbed by Springtrap teleporting.

The upside you get for interacting with Springtrap's power is not worth all the downsides you are inflicting upon yourself and the team.

its a 3v1 yes, but there are less open wounds for you to twist the knife into, so to speak. there's an entire hour before the server closes so it's not like there's a real rush. if a survivor doesn't go down then it's all the same difference, I feel.
