You do know that Doctor is going to give someone a seizure right BHVR?
Idk what you all did but you need to fix it, Doctors static is causing some issues. The killswitch is there for a reason.

Hate to be that guy, but isn't there a massive warning plastered on the screen before you start playing?

If videogames give you a seizure you shouldn't be playing them, doesn't sound healthy…They have a warning label just like any other videogame. Its a horror-game. There are going to be "Flashy Lights"
Also doctors been out for…what…9 years? Let's be so for real.

must be something new going on like when trickster was starting to act up. I haven't seen it though so I'll take buddys word for it

Can you elaborate?

Its explained more in this vid

I don't see the issue?
If people are THAT sensitive then my advice is to avoid video games altogether.

Should've seen old doctor. That was so much worse
But yh if current ui is causing seizures it should be reverted

Some people do put pets into devices even when there is warning sing they shouldnt do it or simular things its inevitable.

Why are people defending this? If one little graphic change (that wasn't there before) will make it so people can play without issues, then just do it. Lots of people are colorblind, that's why there are colorblind settings. Lot of people have motion sickness, that's why many games have adjustments to help with nausea. We don't just tell these people not to play if a small fix will help.

I see this all the time - not just in this game either. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who just don't care about an issue until it affects them.
100% agree, for small visual change that has zero impact on gameplay I also don't understand why anyone would be against this.

The issue is caused by a recent change to his visual effects. Perhaps be less dismissive of the issue if you aren't actually informed on it.

In the video He shows example that's in the live game but then later shows this as the live version which I don't see when I've versed doctor. these two snips are different effects but both the live version of game? Are people getting the top version is that the issue?

From what I understand, it's not Doctor in general that is the problem, but a specific undocumented change to his on-screen static effects. Some time ago they allegedly changed the visuals from little bolts of electricity down the side of the screen to rolling bars of static. I say allegedly because some people are disputing the specifics, but the screenshots I've seen do show a clear difference:
The former was supposedly unproblematic for people with photosensitive conditions, but the new effects trigger seizures. So it seems like what happened is they made an unecessary change to Doctor's VFX and created a photosensitivity problem where there wasn't one previously. In which case, I vote they should just revert it.
If videogames give you a seizure you shouldn't be playing them, doesn't sound healthy…They have a warning label just like any other videogame. Its a horror-game.
Normally I share the opinion that players are responsible for their own wellbeing, but in this case the solution is so simple and doesn't compromise the experience for anyone else that I see no reason not to do it.

What a stupid comparison.

it’s only been an issue for the last year. Not his entire existence. Maybe try having some empathy and not be so tone deaf.

i played against a doc and his red light seemed more bright than before. felt eye strain inducing and I'm someone who never minded doc before, musophonia aside.

there was a visual change last year, people have posted the videos here.

Remember when they changed flashlights because of photosensitivity? There were warnings back then too , hmm kind of funny how making flashlights drain faster and less responsive was okay under the guise of photosensitivity but not reverting a change from last year is fine because there is photosensitivity warnings.
Guess we can bring back the clicky clicky spam because we have a photosensitivity warning.

Just cold fact you dislike but cant denny.

right but years ago killer players said that flashlight were causing seizures and were a problem, due to this flashlights got nerfed for accessibility. Thing is we had those warnings then too.
Now we’re seeing people just say too bad survivors play something else over a graphic effect that doesn’t even have any gameplay value, simply because there is a photosensitivity warnings.
So again should we then revert the flashlight changes that were only made because of photosensitive players because we have a warning and that should be enough?

that isn’t the photosensitivity issue /nerf i was refering to. Flashlights used to have zero delay between clicking, which allowed for easier repositioning if needed. when players complained it was giving them seizures bhvr changed them so there is a delay between using the flashlight which also added significant more battery drain in the process.
The problem was the insta clicks were fast blinking lights. Which was seizure inducing. However the fix actually had gameplay ramifications as flashlights were nerfed overall. Thing is we had photosensitivity warnings back then too.
So isn’t it now hypocritical to tell survivors to go play something else because there is a warning about photosensitivity, especially when fixing said issue would have zero and i mean zero gameplay ramifications?
here’s a link showing the differencehttps://youtu.be/KQM8RpKA_eM?si=zEkIuyRXG0RHTiqF

I would agree with you. Makes sense.

it isn’t just me complaining about it, but i did complain about the flashlight change i’m talking about. Not the one you’re thinking about. I advocated for it, and it had gameplay ramifications. So I’m advocating for photosensitive players once again especially when this vfx change wouldn’t affect gameplay changes.
Or are you saying that killer should’ve just played something else then because there were photosensitivity warnings back then too. And that old insta click flashlights that lasted twice as long should come back?

I'm really baffled here. They could just make an option to turn it off in settings, to put this "immersion" stuff to bed. There's zero reasons to argue against that. It's like saying we don't need wheelchair ramps. People in wheelchairs should just not do stuff. Yet the ramp doesn't hurt anyone. Things should be available to people, especially when it's this easy.
