I understand there are no plans on releasing a Switch 2 update for Dead by Daylight, but I really hope BHVR will reconsider soon. The Switch player base might not be big, but there’s potential to grow this community with a decent port of the game. It’s unrealistic to expect Switch owners to play DBD, when there’s really only bad news to give. They get most updates 2 weeks late, you’re at a blatant disadvantage because of performance, DLC is unreliable to purchase, etc. I imagine part of the problem is cosmetics and characters have a hard time selling on the Switch/Switch 2 but that’s probably because there’s no real incentive to customize your character, since they will always look bad (other than progression). I want to keep enjoying dead by daylight, but since the Switch 2 is my only console now, it hasn’t been as enjoyable as it used to be.

    I second this, it’s unacceptable imo, the game has a fairly decent sized player base on switch that would only get bigger if that patched the game and made it fully utilize the new hardware

    I have DBD on my Switch 2, but I almost always play it on a laptop. I can't get over how bad things look on the Switch. They should definitely give the switch version some TLC.

    I wholeheartedly agree with you. My Switch 2 is my main console while I am away on vacation or just can’t be bothered to sit at my PC. It’s quite annoying that they cannot cater to Switch players. Like, just give us some damn better graphics, please!!

    While there might not be a lot of us compared to PC and console players, there is still a good amount of us Switch/Switch 2 players who deserve the same recognition. I am a big fan of the game, yet it is such a shame that we just get left out in the cold.

    If I could bet on what's going to happen is that BHVR will cut support for PS4, Xone and Switch in general, specially with this new way to distribute patchs that Nintendo is forcing these days that makes Switch players being unable to crossplay for weeks EVERY SINGLE PATCH.
