Why Aren't My Cheater Reports Being Banned?
For the last 9 months, I've reported probably over a dozen blatant cheaters. I've submitted in-game reports, then followed up with player tickets where I take the painstaking trouble to record my game footage, capture my logs, and submit the ticket. Brazen, blatant, obvious cheaters.
And NOTHING is happening to them.
I have received no status updates on any of the cheaters I've been reporting in the last year. Just today, I went against a cheater who was teleporting, taking control of other players, and attempted took our game hostage. I've gone against COUNTLESS games like this, and I report these players and go through the extra effort to provide extra footage, and NOTHING happens. I never get any status updates, so I can only assume they're left to cause chaos and ruin games and nothing's being done about it.
This gets absolutely no reaction, no bans. I understand that the devs cannot talk about their cybersecurity measures but I feel ignored and I feel like the game health is uncared for as long as I'm being ignored and players like this are allowed to run rampant with no consequences.
Is anything being done about cheaters? If so, what gives on the radio silence on my ban reports for almost a year?

I gave up on the reporting tbh..
I dont think bhvr cares, its all about getting as much money from us, while spending as little as possible.
DLC still sells, no matter how big the cheating gets.

I won't name the company, but I know of one gaming company that does not adhere to any "Protect the guilty" policy. In fact, they outfight call cheaters out and force them to make a public apology.
This shows that there is no legal reason not to tell us "Oh yeah, Johnny was banned for cheating. Thanks for reporting him." and yet, every single company has a policy against it.2 -
I’m not sure what this is about. Mine have gone through and have been actioned on. I just use the ingame report button, nothing else.
In a recent email they said that they no longer require video proof or screenshots that the ingame report feature is enough.

This games core is heaven for cheaters even the worst ones but devs kinda ignore it for few years now the cheater situation and I dont think there will be any fix soon to help battle the cheaters better than it is now.
Maybe even we will live long enough to witness GTA 6 before cheaters are solved or forgotten in this game.

I've started sending those in because they don't do anything about my player reports. I don't know what to do but I'm feeling exhausted and like I've been put on a "DNI" list or something

Reporting needs to be better.
If they really cant add server side checks we need these features
- In game match history you can go back and look at perks and ad ons (is kinda on stats site but needs to be in game)
- In game match replay, so that if we suspect someone is cheating we are able to grab the footage and so that THE REPORT TEAM can also go back and see matches which I'm under impression they cant. (including ping that was happening during match)
- If Reporting does not lead to ban (and you've done the effort of providing footage and out of game manual report) should at least get a response from ban team like "unforcently in this case we did not find any bannable offenses in this report" or "Thank you for your report, we have found the player is participating in bannable offenses" Nothing that would give away internal details about the specifics0 -
Yeah they would upset me too. It just doesn't make sense though especially if you are showing people that are clearly hacking, ya send the report in.
