Double Speed Blight

The nerfs coming to blight are fine and all but base blight isn’t the problem in the slightest, it’s rat and crow.

Without them he’s fine, balanced even, but they remove all form of counter play because he’s simply just too fast to make a counter move you’re basically just gambling for him to make a misplay which the best blights don’t do as he can just wait and then flick at max speed, honestly I don’t see blight complaints dying down until double speed are touched, the charges getting reduced by 2 on pallet break are a good start but we got a long way to go.

The thing is blight has always been strong, and probably always will be, however the main reason to the rise of kill% with him in my opinion is the change to surv spawns, since he has the highest mobility in game, and 90% of maps having predictable spawns, they get a chase at the very start of the match and snow ball from that, I do believe that if the spawn changes were reverted blights would take longer to get the first chase, survs could get separated faster. The main point is that the spawn changes are a buff to all killers however the value of that buff is greatly improved on high mobility killers.

yeah I wouldn’t be happy with them over nerfing him either as I actually main a killer on the receiving end of such treatment (Skull merchant)

I just think at least for killer they need to balancing from the top down because like you said this’ll only affect bad blights.

I feel like bhvr is stuck in this cycle where they only ever apply changes for one niche area of players, and not looking at the big picture. Bad killers stay bad and get worse via power creep and people getting better and the good killers stay good after nerfs because the only people still playing them are the ones who the nerfs don’t affect.

But thats probably their point. They want to remove bad Blight players.

For example Billy and Kaneki are both strong killer, but most people only complain about Kaneki. A good Billy will probably destroy the survivors even faster, but they are rare. And survivor get to enjoy playing against bad Billy.

So if their goal is to reduce complaints, it will probably do a lot.

Speed add-ons are the most problematic at the moment. While CD upon break action is needed, it still doesn't hurt semi-decent blight players. They will still have insane mobility with amazing zoning capability.

If people really want speed add-ons to stay, they would need to increase cool-down for power recovery and that would just make things even more unfun. Blight has been on top of the food chain for way too long and it's time to bring some light to other killers.

I'm still not fan of Blight nerfs but whatever. Comparing 4stacked slowdown, tunneling Blight to casual Blights is just insane. Killer to fullfill their objective as fast as survivors are doing their obectives would have to find, down, hook survivor and find new survivor every 30s in order to keep up with time-related progress of survivors objective, which is unreal. But I understand that running same 4 perks on both sides for years is fun (irony).

Yes, let's gut killer more so the bad blight players stop playing as him, leaving only tryhards and mains who will start playing this killer in the scummiest way possible because nothing else will work for him.

Sometimes I wish people would use their brain and understand that making killer less enjoyable to play will only keep casuals and less experienced players away from the said killer. Those who have figured out how to make the killer efficient ain't going to go anywhere.

When’s the last time you or anyone else has played against a “casual” blight? 🤣🤣🤣 Even the most average blight will 2k at a minimum if not win the overwhelming majority of their matches.

So you want an average of 3k Blights? Because this is what you will get when only people who main him will keep playing this killer and others will move to someone else.

At almost 7k hours, nearly every blight I play against already 3k/4k. It would make absolutely no difference.
