Krasue
I'm just getting back to this game (haha) and every time I'm facing the Krasue I have no idea what to do. It seems like she can just catch up with you immediately in her head form, and if you try to avoid getting hit by her spit, it seems almost impossible unless you're in an indoor map.
You can't even pick up the mushrooms and eat them during chase because if you do she can still hit you because of the cooldown period before the infection goes away. I'm not even sure what the point of the mushrooms are because unless you win a chase the infection is removed when you get hooked.
So you can't loop her (she just easily hits you in her head form), you can't avoid her spit, you can't eat the mushroom and deny her the head form hit… so… what do you do?
How do you counter her? I'm probably just having a skill issue but I'm really just not sure what the intended counterplay is.

the best counter to krasue is pre dropping strong pallet and body blocking for each other the latter in pretty difficult in solo queue .

I took a break just before this killer was released, started again when 2vs8 got active (for reference, I know she wasn't in 2vs8). So I know of the existence of this killer, but even in all the matches I played since, I've never encountered this killer. So quite surprised to see she's apparently actively used. Maybe it's my region idk.
Come to think of it also saw only 1 dogmaster but a billion Weskers.

I play about 400 matches a month, a third to half of which would be survivor, and have had maybe 20 Krasues since her release. She's become almost like Twins in her rarity. About as fun to play against too.

I saw a Krasue like 2 weeks ago. And it was the first this year. She is very unpopular, because her gameplay loop is really boring and basically always the same.
@Topic:
As already said, strong Pallets are your friend, since she cannot break them. Bodyblocking while not infected works as well. However, she does not have that much counterplay, on most Loops she will get a hit.
Her infection mechanic got changed some point after release. Initially the infection would not go away when you get hooked, which made the Mushrooms more important. But since it takes three business days to cleanse the Infection, she was very good at tunneling so that got changed. Currently you can basically ignore the Mushrooms, unless she leaves you in a chase, but since she will most likely down you and there is not that much counterplay, this almost never happens.
Learning to play against her is also difficult, since she is very rare. She is super boring to play, so only very few dedicated people who really like her are playing here. (Which is a shame, since the concept of Krasue is really cool)

Damn, I must have gotten really unlucky, cause I got her like 4 times so far in the span of 3 days.
So, strong pallets are the only counterplay? That sucks, I feel like most pallets are mid at best.

I did it you guys! I went out up against this killer ... And she was the worst

Agree she is miserable to go against. Fortunately I haven’t seen one in a very long time.

I feel like she just lacks spice as a killer. She looks and sounds great, but just feels so unsatisfying to play (despite having sunk a fair amount of time in).
I don't really like infecting before getting to injure, and getting hits in head form doesn't have the same oomph as some of the other cast members for me (ST Vecna M1 is the same way).
Part of me wishes she wasn't so rare, but a lot of the original killers released during modern DBD's lifespan strike me as filler additions so it's hard to be passionate about it. The devs tried something new, this is someone's dream OC, it didn't quite catch on.
At least she isn't full of bugs.

- Use strong loops, she can't outplay you on good pallets.
- Her swing can't turn much.
- Her speed is 4.8 on headform, it's good to know that.
- Taking hits is extremely good against her head form.
- Her "spit" has auto-aim when killer shots it at wall or object. It's easier to dodge it in the open field.
- If she vaults the pallet, you can vault after her with a good timing. Sometimes it's good to try!

Awesome info.

The strongest loops for head form are two windows or window and pallet where you can vault over while she cant get her hit range or vault so this means even the god pallets arent best against her because usualy theres nothing near them so she will get you like she cant hug sharply her turn rate is way more limited than regular attack so some loops where looping m1 killer is bad can be very good agsainst krasue.

Twins, hag and artist are still rarest killers in my opinion like I havent faced hag more than one and half year but I got few twins and like two artist in year time window.

Yeah headform can't break pallets so throw them and also non infected survivors bodyblocking is very strong since Krasue needs to hit that survivor like four times to injure them.
