Why do people act like Dracula isn't crazy overpowered?

I won't say the character as a whole I guess..

The changing between forms has no penalty, and the wolf form is crazy strong…

He is honestly probably my most hated killer to go against. They didn't even make his wolf form count as a secondary hit?

Just seems ridiculous.

Because hes not. He's one of the most fairest, strong killers in the game.

He has a bloated kit like the majority of Killers within the last few years. You don't see him often anymore and he's been changed a bit since release, but it's naturally not very fun going against a Killer that feels like they have a counter for everything.

I play Dracula. I don't really feel overpowered. He does seem to be one of the stronger killers, but compared to the likes of Nurse, Blight and Ghoul he is fair.

His versatility is his strenght. In my opinion, against the really good survivors, wolf is overrated. Or in other words, you need to be a better Dracula to be able to keep up with better, wolf doesn't save you. A survivor good at looping will likely know how and when to turn or vault a window. A since you don't get bloodlust as wolfie, they will likely get distance or at least buy time. A good Dracula will of course time their pounce around corners But a good survivor will anticipate that. And so on.

He’s not overpowered. He’s A-tier, but certainly has plenty of counter play. His ranged attack is very easy to dodge and wolf form is not that great. His greatest strength is probably mobility, but survivors can easily prerun when they hear the bats coming.

He is he must hit all his shots they arent so free and still his powers are limited pretty much.

Hellfire is like hitting pyramidheads m2 with no turn limit but weaker because it cant go through the walls, wolf form is two wesker dashes but same distance and they cant be used each you must hit them in one go while suffering with wide screen fov because of third person which makes it way harder to hit with flicks or in open areas, bat form has huge catch up but it can be baited more than spirit sometimes and even then he cant go from it and immideatly hit you plus its not so easy to track with all that noise of bats even with basekit straidor and survivors get warned all the time against dracula he has sound cue on everything he does like for each form he takes theres special sound cue or wolf has sound cue for dash or he has sound cue for hellfire even bat teleport ability marks that window or vault he comes too with that smoke and has its own sound plus you can see him go there as smoke bolt so he warns survivors all the time which makes him not so busted, his kit has solution for almost anything but his powers arent so strong alone he must still shape to be versitile and warnings are everywhere about what he is doing.

Bat isnt near spirit its speed is slower, you see the same but hear lot worse so survivors can doubleback and gain distance, he slows when he goes to other form from bat form which spirit doesnt suffer from and he cant immideatly attack be is basicaly wraith basekit speed when cloaked only can fly above vaults and teleport and has visuals of spirit but thats it his form isnt slightly weaker its weaker, he has big lullaby radius which warns survivors plus bat sounds when he is coming close which spirit doesnt suffers from.

Only thing bat form alone has better than spirit is its mobility potencial due to having short time for switching into it and not being timed plus teleport but thats all it has better than spirit its just better mobility and catching up tool due to lower cooldown but thats where it ends in being better.

I don't feel that's necessarily a bad thing...going against killers you can just hold w and auto win basically are no fun or challenge to verse sometimes.

holding w against a Dracula for example, he can try and counter that with bat form, which initiates some Spirit counterplay from my end. That's engagement from both sides which is something, compared to say Trickster, Clown or Henry where you immediately mirror the killers movements the second you see the visual terror radius.

He's been nerfed quite a bit since launch, to the extent that some of his addons are laughably bad (reduce cooldowns by 0.2 seconds or whatever). He's still very strong because of his versatility and capacity to use strong perks well, but he's by no means uncounterable. Even at his strongest I wouldn't have put him in the same echelon as Blight, Nurse and Ghoul though.

I think that his changing forms should have some type of negative. And batform should NOT be infinite.

the only thing that still annoys me about him is m2 zoning with hellfire and using hellfire right after the unhook to get a 2 for 1 hit. other than that, i’d say his basekit is fine. some addons need to be reworked tho (killer doll and lapis are very stupid and busted design).

Pretty sure regular wolf bites are meant to count as basic M1s and the pounce does count as a special attack so I dunno what OP means by that…

It all has a purpose. It's just that if you never feel like you're "getting one up" on the opposing player in either role, it stops being fun. It's one of the reasons DBD felt better in the past. Each Killer changed how the trial played out in a unique way versus these days where they all do a bit of everything and don't have much variety when you get down to brass tacks.

I have my gripes with a few killers but funny enough Dracula is not one of them he's strong but I don't think he's busted

    Strong =/= OP

I wouldn't describe him as OP but I cannot stand the fact that he can just constantly zone by faking both his Pounce and Hellfire attacks
