Kill Switch update: The Mastermind has been Kill Switched due to an issue with Virulent Bound. The Mastermind will be re-enabled once this issue is fixed.

Nurse balanace

The Nurse can correct mistakes by spending tokens on her blink. If she misses, she can simply blink again to reposition and get close enough to land a hit. This alone is incredibly powerful - few other killers have anything comparable.

On top of that, she has a second form of error correction: if she overcharges her blink, she can just aim down at the ground to shorten the distance.

Having two separate ways to fix mistakes is simply too generous for an ability that is already arguably the strongest in the game. No other killer is given this level of leniency. Imagine if someone like Albert Wesker or Demogorgon could just look down to reduce their travel distance after overshooting and still be able to attack immediately - it would feel excessive.

A better approach would be to make blink distance consistent. If the Nurse charges her ability to travel X meters, then she should travel X meters. Looking at the ground shouldn't shorten the blink; it should simply carry her forward that full distance (if downward movement isn't possible).

This would give survivors more room to mind game and make her second blink require more precision. In other words, she would actually have to pay for her mistakes, just like every other killer.

The Nurse is already extremely strong. She doesn't need this additional advantage - and even without it, she would remain one of the strongest killers in the game.

If you start comparing Nurse to other killers and say that her mechanics are there to as "error corrections" is little bit weird.

Claiming her two blinks is some "error correction" mechanic when its there to give her the chance to get a hit with her power quite often getting hit on one blink is hard against anyone who knows how she works and its there to also compensate her being slower than survivors when moving normally.

Your second "error correction". Nurse can't cancel her power at all both of your examples of Demo and Mastermind both can cancel their power charge if they so chose. If Nurse starts charging you can't cancel it. She is basically only killer who can't cancel her chargeable power most if not all other killers who have same kind of mechanic can cancel the charge with varied downsides or none. The second "error correction" is there to at least make her able to do something to change the position of the blink location if she did not have this she would be easy to counter by just running and hugging her when she starts charging her power as you could not do anything in that instance. You still can't even use this on map where you are on the second level anyway as you would just blink to the first level. Its also have to be there as if you aim anywhere you can't blink you have to blink somewhere so it has to adjust and blink you to the closest area you can blink to otherwise it would be really clunky to use.

If your suggestion of the blink distance would be added then she needs the ability to cancel her blink outright like every other killer has. Nurse players do pay of mistakes these two things you are listing one is her base power she has two blinks and needs them how she currently is and the second is needed because she has no way of canceling her blinks.

These are not advantages really just way to have something when she is even lacking basic abilities that other killers have to make her harder to use anyway.

By my reckoning, she just needs to be able to cancel her power like any other killer. If this is too strong, they could add a small sound cue when she preps her blink so that people can know to dodge (and gives her a baiting tool by prepping and then cancelling the blink).

Neither of those are issues. She simply wouldn't work without it.
Sure, go play her and use only one blink all game, that's going to be so much fun…

Nerfing her lunge addon help, even tho I would rather see complete rework.
Last thing she would need now is to simply hide survivor aura while charging blink, so her counterplay is always viable.
