Why "Shoulder The Burden" has description inversed?
It basically says that you can steal 1 hook state from survivor thats on a hook, as long as I dont have 2 hook states left…

That is what the perk does. It takes a hook state from the unhooked and gives it to the unhooker that is the user. So don't know what you mean by it being inverted?

Hook Stages are the markers you get when you are hooked. So when you have two it means your next hook is going to kill you. You don't have hook stages on the start of the match. Like first stage is the Summoning Phase and the second is Struggle Phase and the third stage is Sacrifice.
I think the writing mistake is there though and it should say Hook Stages not Hook States as that does not even make sense.

use Active Ability Button 2 to unhook them:They lose 1 Hook State.
You gain 1 Hook State.
You scream.
You gain Exposed for 60/50/40s.Maybe its me, but I feel like while reading it; my brain reads ''They lose 1 hook state'' and translates it to ''they lose the 1 mark next to their name'', etc.

they do. thats the point of the perk. By using Shoulder, youre essentially absorbing their hook state.

The language is, whenever you are hooked, you gain one hook state. Every hook state gets you closer to death.
So the hook states aren't the amount of times you can still be hooked until you die. It's how often you are hooked.3
