This absolutely baffled me

I literary had a survivor duo throw an absolute fit today in endgame chat and later in steam chat cause one of them (the obsession) died at 7 hooks vs an endgame build with remember me on pig.

When I pointed out that it's kind of the point to have the obsession dead in endgame cause of the perk, I got a long essay on how it's not about the perks but about dirty playstyles.

Those survivors had 3.5k hours in this game and were both p100. The player that got "tunneled out" even had DS which didn't trigger cause she wasn't tunneled. Like only in DBD so many players live in their own worlds and make up their own rules. Absolutely baffles me

you gotta learn to not care; my moment was being reported for letting the last Survivor get hatch.

for using Remember Me you played it like a saint.

Every player has their own hula hoop and you can only control what happens in yours. Play in a way that's fun for you, throw on Anon mode, and don't worry about the postgame chat. Best way to play killer.

Some people are really delusional regarding to how people should play, that the perk basically requires that is often irrelevant xD

Just learn to laugh about them and gather comments like this, then you have a profile full of funny people telling funny things :D

People choose something to get mad about if the loss hurt their ego, usually because they were sweating for the win. If they tried their best and still lost, the last thing they have is to blame something for being cheap/OP/unfair and preserve their self-image of being good at the game.

They just need to realise that taking an L doesn't mean you're bad or even that the enemy is better. They just played better that one game.

What they choose to get mad about is honestly irrelevant.

My favorite (P100 Pig here) is the time when the last two survivors were an Ash with an active bear trap on his head and a Jill that had zero hooks and was a looping God. The generators were done, the doors were open and what's she doing? Circles in the exit gate. So, I downed her and hooked her… She did not try to escape (this was back when you could always attempt to 4%) and just waiting out the timer… Ash's trap exploded and then she immediately was sacrificed. In end game chat she was GOING OFF on me about how the only reason I got a 4K was because she was a team player and wouldn't leave the Ash behind… I tried to explain that if she'd just left, he might have been able to get hatch but she wasn't hearing it. She said I must be an only child because I don't know what it means to be a team player.

This one is baffling. Like, okay, maybe you only got that kill because she wanted to help her teammate, but that was her choice to do so. It's not like you hooked her then went straight to post-game chat to tell her she was bad. You just played the video game as intended.

Exactly, especially since I didn't even go looking for the Ash, I was fine with him getting hatch, but sadly he didn't find it before his trap popped.
