If nemesis would have been reworked?

We all love nemesis but what if he would be more accurate to his character?

    Maybe I'm being baited by the thumbnail here (I haven't watched the video) but I really don't understand why people act like the presence of a rocket launcher is the sole determining factor for whether Nemesis is accurate to the games or not.

    Everything he does have is accurate, why does it matter that he doesn't have that one highly specific thing?

    its not just the rocket launcher but also the whole rush (running thing) he is know for being a fast beast while here he is barely faster i understand why but it would have been cooler

    I think he would need his rush with his scream, would be helpfull because zombies are bunch of unreliable donkeys that arent that even good unless you run top addons on them and even then they arent that great as power. Little mobility with breaking and maybe 1 infection damage wouldnt make him op I think.

    I get the rocket launcher part but he does use weapons and they only gave him a tentacle in game. The whole using weapons and NE-a parasite part is kind of what separated him from a normal tyrant so not giving him a single conditional one feels off.

    yep, let's keep complaining and crying about buffs on killers when too many already need a nurf. no wonder we never get the nerfs we need. ghoul took a year to get the nerf he needed. hitting through walls getting free hits. how about we focus on the real issues on this game for f sake

    This is partially true, however it feels like they tried to cram every single bit about RE3make into him instead of focusing on his abilities

    His tentacle is usually used to grapple and stagger in both RE3make and Resistance, in DbD it just looks like it was lazily put in for a form of anti loop and an excuse to add vaccines, which is also a lazy way to add supply cases, and then also zombies which sounds cool on paper but were poorly implemented. Finally mutation... These are drastic changes in his source material and in DbD its just a few growths on his arm. What we have isnt The Nemesis, we got the Temu version called The Adversary.

    Id write up what I would like to see for a rework, but this post is long enough already and chances are nobody is gonna read it lol

    I think if he had a Rush it would just be like press ability key to start a scream and he just rushes like Hillbilly and ends with a lil cooldown at the end of the rush but without the insta down lethality doesn't really seem op to add to his kit if it's just map traversal mobility.

    I can understand not adding a rocket launcher to his kit for the sake of balance but what if more as a homage to it he has like a secondary mori where you can rocket launcher the survivor?

    So I've watched that video, and i play a lot of nemesis (he's my second most played killer behind my beloved demo) and the majority of those suggested changes are busted. There are some good points but most of it is just OP.

    I know people want their killers to be more "lore accurate" but lore accurate and balanced pull in two different directions. Demogorgons can canonically outrun speeding trucks and tear apart fully armed and trained squads of military personnel in seconds, pyramid head is a god's avatar, hellraiser has a similar level of power. Yet they all still regularly get dunked on around them by 4 unenhanced humans with nothing but pallets, torches, moxy and the odd flashbang to fight back with in games. If you want a lore accurate reason for these changes then it's because the entity nerfs them to balance trials and give survivors hope of escape to allow the entity to glean the maximum sustenance from each trial.

    Nemesis' base kit power is fine, pretty well balanced imo, it has skill expression, and is dodgeable. The tyrant rush is a potential alternative, but I don't see why we gotta fix what isn't broke. I do like the roar idea, making the zombies a little controlable would be a good change. The rocket launcher is just plain nuts. That youtuber suggests a laser to make it dodgeable but also then make it redirectable. To hell with that, if I get instadowned across the map because nemi read my aura and curved a f@*&ing rocket in through a doorway then I'm going to disconnect. Just no.

    As for his addon pass suggestions, he has some points. For sure nemi's add on kit is pretty naff, addons are either boring but consistent or interesting but pointless. Unfortunately most of the suggestions are pretty OP, nothing wrong with a good add on list but all S tier add ons is too much. He does have some good ideas for it but yh moderation.

    Nemi is really solid B tier imo and the game needs those. The killers I enjoy playing as and against are generally that sort of level. They require skill to play while still being accessible, they can be countered by survs without being too weak. We do not need to make every killer S tier, because S tier basically means uncounterable if the killer is skilled. Look how many people hate playing against nurse and blight. Because they suck, either the killer player is good and it's a hatch game at 3 gens, or they suck and exit gates are open after 2/hooks.

    Yh it's just a matter of balance, it's easy to want buffs when it's your favourite killer, just need to look at it objectively.
