Before you buy the trapper cosmetics
Remember the killer theyre tied to. One of the literal worst killers in the game. Traps can literally be disarmed with no consequence unless you run an iri add on, and you lose 3 gens while setting up in the games current state. I play a lot of trapper and dont recommend anyone buy these overpriced cosmetics until he gets some buffs. The literal poster boy of this game has been neglected and thrown to the side for years but hey, buy our expensive cosmetics and eat the slop while you get bullied by below average teams.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say that the Trapper is a good killer by any means, he is absolutely one of the weakest in the game, but the criticism of survivors having "no consequence" for disarming traps is a bit silly. Survivors should not be punished for playing against a killer power correctly, it's on par with saying that survivors should be punished for burning a Xeno out of crawler mode, or for kicking Victor.
I also don't think the purchasing of skins is what BHVR look at when assessing whether or not a killer should be buffed, it's more likely to be the selection and kill rates of the character.

I guess people buy Cosmetics for Killers they like. I dont see anyone buying a Cosmetic for a Killer they will not play or dont like to play.
So not sure what the purpose of this Thread is.

But is it bad if they like the Franchise and buy something from it? Obviously Trapper is not a good Killer, but I dont think many people expect the entry level Killer to be one of the best.

IIm Saying that the community shouldn't support all these cosmetics theyre pumping out when there are glaring issues that BHVR is refusing to look at. The simple fact that anyone at BHVR thought that the fast track buff or the trickster being 110 was a good idea proves that nobody at the dev team play tests their own game. No killer should be 110 and punishing a killer for doing their one objective was a huge mistake that they should not be making after 10 years. This is what happens when they listen to the worst takes on twitter

He may not be for everyone but I like playing as Trapper. Well… Most of the time, anyway. If you face a SWF that dedicates a team member to follow you around to point out / trigger all your traps, it can be a miserable experience. But he can still do well against regular SoloQ.
I even spent almost an entire year saving up shards to buy the Naughty Bear cosmetic. Some people don't care how strong a Killer is if they still find them fun to play as.

Just make Trapper start with all his traps in his inventory, its such an easy thing to do and it will help him so much in the early game. Having a killer who has to go pick up his power in 2026 is so goddamn stupid.

As someone who actually likes playing Trapper and is a huge fan of AoT… I'm still not going to buy this. A $15 legendary skin that comes with nothing new other than a janky looking menu animation is laughable. Hell, they actually removed his spawning-in animation from mobile 😂

That would be sick, if he had cool mori animation, I would actually be considering bying him even when it's trapper…
But this is just overpriced as it is…

Trapper isnt best basics because he will slowly teach you one thing and thats be ok with loosing even when you did everything right.
Better options are killers like wraith,legion even doctor they give you more info on survivors and let you be more in chase and active compare to trapper.
Now trapper isnt that worthof playing, not until his rework is out same with merchant because there are more better low killers.

Just naughty bear is the best one no loud sonds of breathing or his steps plus unique mori.
And you can get it with shards and its cheapest cosmetic of its tier its basicaly same in qualities as wereelk unique mori,skin but its cheaper.

I'm sorry guys for supporting this. usually you don't get "morning after regret" until after you wake up and realize you made a terrible mistake, however I had "night of" regret.
no mori, no load in animation, no chase music is kinda lame. I knew it all and still got tempted to support my boy.

The way that I see it is that nothing we do is going to make BHVR change. According to them, they are always right. So if you enjoy Trapper and you like fashion, knock yourself out. Diminished sales on one cosmetic will literally change nothing. Give it enough time and they'll give him a dumb Michael buff that obliterates his identity in favor of sweat.

God am i happy they canned the Frank Stone skin for trapper… it wouldve been such a letdown (heres to hoping he'll come as his own killer one day)
