So when are y'all kill switching scout in 2v8?
The crouch bonus is stacking and makes survivors move faster than killer.

Its getting fixed in the next patch already marked as "Fix Incoming" so no they are not kill switching Scout.

So they killswitch legion for a month but we can't killswitch the scout as survivors are exploiting it and ruining games?

For what two days. The next patch is most likely out on tuesday. Also you can report them if they are doing it intentionally.

By BHVRs own rules, if something can be killswitched, they won't ban people for it, because they can kill switch it.

people like you need to stop assuming bhvr purposely kept legion killswitched for a month. the reason he was killswitched for so long was because the next possible update that the fix for him could come through was the recent midchapter patch. the devs go on a pretty strict release cycle of PTB→ Live Release after 3 weeks→ Bugfix 1 first week after live release → Bugfix 2 second week after live release → restart cycle with a new PTB one week after Bugfix 2.

the people that made (and are still making) a huge deal out of legion being killswitched for a long period of time like it was an intentional decision by the devs.

i may wasnt intenional but it was a huge deal because i was for almos he whole bloodmoon event.
not only does it already suck to be unable to play your main not being able to pu levels into them was so bad and bhvr did even had the heart to drop some bloodpoints to say sorry

BVHR is just very slow to kill switch problematic broken stuff on the survivor side. I remember the last time it was Streetwise causing infinite item charges and they really dug their heels before they finally killswitched it only a day or two before the patch. It's just weird when they'll killswitch killers quite quickly.

fair point, i forgot you can’t put bp on killswitched characters. they really need to find a way for us to still put bp into characters even if they’re actively killswitched.

Not really. BHVR just does two things when it comes to Killswitching:
- They are inconsistent
- They are too sparse with the Killswitch
I think the second point got better since the Streetwise-Drama. And the person communicating back then is also not here anymore, so they probably learned from it.
But what they killswitch is inconsistent. I remember one time that there were Maps which had uncleansable Totems, those were fine. Unsnuffable Totems were not fine, this got killswitched. Then you had things which were really minor and got killswitched and more broken Things were not killswitched (e.g. the Doctor and Merciless Storm-thing back in the day where it could reset a complete Gen… And killswitchting Merciless Storm would not have been an issue at all).
Nemesis and STBFL took also long to killswitch. And well, Streetwise obviously as well.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've faced many matches with 4 scouts scooting around the map for fun, but they didn't actually seem faster than me. Like yeah of course they were fast, but it felt like they were regular survivor running speed and I would still gain on them in chase.
Not saying it is a non-issue, just wondering if the reason it hasn't been killswitched is because killers can still work with it, albeit at the disadvantage of not having scratch marks to follow I suppose?

pretty sure it's always been like this and people are only talking about it because of a viral video that blew up because nobody plays scout or cares enough to coordinate.

People downvoting this but we had an entire killer removed from 2v8 because they were "unfun to go against" but sprint burst on demand with a 20 second cooldown stays…

Yet you have high mobility killers who can close that distance instantly you can play, or you can work with your co-killer and it really negates the whole issue.
If you are playing the low mobility killers solo and complaining about it, welcome to how we feel about Blight/Nurse/Ghoul, but you'll find a way to argue in bad faith despite this comparison. On the contrary if you do realise, then cool.7 -
It does seem a little uneven.
Legion gets removed from 2v8 because it's unfun to play. Wesker gets killswitched because he gets the occasional hit over pallets. But the scout crouch-scoot exploit is apparently not an issue and just gets left alone.

the gen class is an honest 9-5 class it may do nothing flashy post rework but it puts in effort. someone's gotta use that poor class, honestly.
I am "the" scout guy but this time around I've been using this class or medic. Wake Up is so underrated
