Survivor disconnect at 4 down
I know that Survivors can disconnect when they are all 4 down and that's all good and fair, but why do I as a killer have to keep playing against 4 bots to get the 4k? Sure i can abandon too, but then it counts as a 4 escape.
When the game acknowledges that the survivors can't win anymore, and lets them abandon, why does it not acknowledges that I would have gotten the 4k? Why do the downed survivors in that case count as escaped when i disconnect?

It kinda isn't good and fair for survivors to abandon, because those abandons count as null matches on their personal stats instead of as the losses they are.
As for killers abandoning with 4 down, anything that encourages 4man slugging is a no from me. You want to make a mess then the least you can do is clean it up. The difference between these two scenarios is that you won. You don't need a win faster option. There's also the chance that you might lose a slug and have it bleedout, thus losing the kill. That's the way it goes when you slug. There's a risk.

No one really knows. I think everyone I've ever seen comment on this, pro or anti abandon, agrees that in this situation the killer should be treated as a win. It's also uncertain whether its just how its displayed in the stats screen or MMR (past comments from mods have given different takes).

i guess then i just wait for bleedout every time when i get my juicy 4 down slug.

You've forced survivors in to a no win situation and you're complaining that you have to now hook those survivors to get the win? What is it, an additional 30 seconds?

can be minutes when they crawled in some corner. Also why are they allowed to leave then? They played bad and now they don't have to sit it out? what i am saying i find it weird that i am forced to hook bots, while the survs can go next

MMR in this game is almost none existent. I've been playing since 2019 and I still to this day get new players in my lobby, so "playing bad" is probably not right, you were just better than them/had more hours in the game.
A by-product of slugging is abandoning. If you don't want them to abandon, don't slug. Not the hardest concept to wrap your head around.

you know there are other ways to get a 4 down without hardcore slugging??? i kinda doubt you play since 2019 with such a narrow view

Okay. 🙂

Can’t you just hook them all to the end the game sooner?

So you would rather waste your own time, because you care so much about an invisible number (MMR) which is basically completely irrelevant at this point?

Would killers like after match mints as well? Perhaps a warm face towel?

When you use the abandon option that comes when the survivors all are bots its not counted as them escaping it is counted as a draw in MMR so in short its not a win but its not also a loss. What the end screen shows does not correlate of what its counted as. Still why you need to kill all of them to get the "win" is there just so people would not slug more as in the end that is not healthy for the game.

Why do the downed survivors in that case count as escaped when i disconnect?
I thought that was a visual bug?

idk, it says the escaped icon. I did not look deeper into it

No the very visible number i care about, is the blood points i get

what do you mean? The thing i am asking for is that i do not have to play against / search for, 4 bots. No one looses anything from that. The survivors are already in the next match and the server gets freed up sooner and the killer saves time. Win Win for literally everyone

ah thank you, good to know.
I just assumes it counts as an escape… as well it says so :p I will still not abandon for the bloodpoints but thank you for the info!

I could, but on some maps or when they hide it takes a while to find them, and if they are all in the same spot you might not even get all of them to a hook in range

You just said that you wait for the Bleedout. A Bleedout gives almost no BPs at all. At this point you can just abandon, get almost all the BPs you would have gotten when you would have let them bleedout and move on with your life.

when i have the choice i will hook of course. no point in wasting time lol. This is for the obvious scenario where this is not possible or takes a while. For example all survivors are next to each other, so i can't hook them all, or they hide so i have to search for a while.
So again, why can survivors just die in one pile, dc, and leave me stuck with 4 bots i can't all hook or takes me unreasonable amount of time to find.
Should i just dc and "oh well, they ware to good at dying, well now they have the escape" ?

But they dont escape. The game ends for them at this point, they will not win according to the MMR and they will not gain any BPs for escaping.

It says they escaped though on end screen? like the escape symbol

Yeah, that is a valid point. I love it when people complain about being slugged but they will purposely crawl away to a hiding spot so killer can’t find them easily

I honestly do not gaf what the survivors think. My goal is to win / have a fun game.
the game i mainly play is warthunder and it´s full of spawn camping, camping, and playing only the OP stuff… and it's fine for the player base. You play to bring your team to victory, not to bring joy to the enemy team. I aint santa clause.
This community is wild that they give a single thought to how the ENEMY team might feel ngl
