Wesker is still broken?
I'm still getting hits at window/pallet vaults that don't look okay on both sides.

Something similar happened to me today in 2v8. Straight up grabbed me even though i threw down the pallet just like what was happening before he was killswitched. It was def not a ping issue as i was in NA server during the match.

Was that even the reason they killswitched him? He did that pretty much from the start, so I wouldn't really see the reason why they would've killswitched him because of this now.

Patch notes lists it as "tentative fix" so it can still happen. So reporting it in the bug reports with logs of the match is good idea so they get the info to fix that iteration of it too. Sounds like the thing was more complex and they need more data to fix all of them. There could be more reasons why its happening so thats why its listed as "tentative".

I got hit through a wall and everytime he’s around incredible lag. They need to kill switch until they can fix him. I can’t even through a pallet unless he’s 10 feet away.

Mostly for grabbing people through pallets but hitting vaulting survivors is still broken. I still downed someone who was already running after vaulting the window. The scamper can also hit people who are not close like Ghoul did but that is a little older.

Everything is fine on my end.
I'm indeed hitting surv at the other side of vaults with his M2, but they are all hits I would get it it was an M1 and this is what he was suppose to do since his release almost four years ago.-6 -
I was actually surprised they kill switched him in the first place. He previously had a much worse bug that soft locked him into permanently carrying an injured Survivor after bounding into them and it ruined the entire trial. It wasn't at all uncommon either and present for at least a couple iterations. He never got kill switched for that so I doubt they would kill switch him again if he's mostly working OK now.
I was really enjoying 2V8 without him too. But now that he's back and in every. single. trial. again I'm just getting my challenges done and taking a break. Dude is basically my Legion in the mode.

I played a few matches with him and had no issues. I even tried to recreate the pallet grab and just got stunned.

he’s fixed, no more pallet grabs after throwing it but he can finally hit people vaulting instead of getting scammed and bouncing for no reason. The pallet grab you’re complaining about are due to ping and they happens since day 1

I had to stop playing him because I couldn't stand the game robbing hits from me anymore (either vault ones, survs sliding on stuff I threw them or simply grabs not registering at all), but now after the code rework I'm finally having a blast with him after so much time. Sometimes I still miss vault hits opportunities because I'm still conditioned that I'll not get them vaulting because of how bad this worked before (98% of times you would bump the vault location and the surv would go unscratched).-2 -
As far as I can tell, it's as fixed as it will ever be. That said, I think the bug of being slammed against a pallet that you'd just dropped behind you will always happen from time to time because afaik it always has (but I think it should be a rare occurrence once again).
The worse soft lock bug I mentioned definitely got fully fixed, though. I've not seen that one for a long time.

Except the vault-hits I know both bugs. I simply don't understand why they killswitched him for that now after all the time. Especially if they didn't even fix them correctly how it seems xD
Or do you mean he grabbed people that were just standing behind a dropped palette, that would be new and then I would understand xD

Yea he is still bugged. I just had a wesker and he doesn't have audio sound que whenever he uses his virulent bound. You can see him with his arm up but there's no sound to indicate he is charging and aiming at you. Normally he does his snickering laugh and you can hear the sound effect of the leeches but he doesn't have audio sound anymore.

I got it in 2v8 where I grabed people kinda through objects even when I was meant to colide with that object like chests for exsample and I got grabed as survivor too many times or even hit way behind the window which is sus because weskers hitbox on vaulting survivors is very survivor friendly and way more wont give you hit even when you dashed into survivor who just vaulted infront of your face.
Seems like they kinda gave him ghouls hitbox but thing is ghoul cant down you but wesker can and thats huge difference.

I'm still getting the bug where I can't control my camera after I get released from a Wesker bound slam. That, these latest bugs and the fact that most EU Weskers seem to be on 120 ping really makes me hate having to play against him.

Why hasn't he been kill switched yet? I've just played against him twice and they're just exploiting bugs! It's a joke.

That is really interesting. Looks like the jank hit happens when the hitbox extends past the terrain and then something funky going on when then server tries to parse the validation from the survivor client. This would probably happen to injured survivors as their hitbox appears more behind the player due to how the injured lean forward. I'm probably totally wrong here, just guessing.

I just wish there was some consistency with what BHVR are willing to kill switch. I get the impression they are much more reluctant to kill switch licensed Killers than non-licensed ones, because we've had invisible Spring Trap before and now we have magnetic hands Wesker. It's like they're given a little extra leeway.
I guess it might have something to do with how easy and obvious a bug is to exploit (Like PWYF Nemesis) and not just something that might happen sometimes through normal play. Still, it feels like a toss up as to whether something gets kill switched most of the time.

Or they need new data to get the problem fixed as there is more going on than some simple one bug that they need to fix. So it being live lets them get more data when people report it with new logs. Sample size will be several times bigger than it would be in any of their internal testing. So making it easier to fix for good.

Could be that. They could always just say so if that's the case. Wesker's long been plagued by these ping related issues and I can see how they would miss a lot of them if they're testing on a local server and everyone is on the same ping (assuming that's where the problem lies).
I see that they've also opened a PTB for extra bug testing, but that seems to be more for graphical issues so I don't know if it's related.

I’ve seen many people calling this hits as an bug, or even an exploit, but this is intentional now.
It’s written on patch 9.6.0, they changed how hos hitbox works on vaults in general, which is causing absurd hits on vaults, I thought they way they did it was not great because he can hit you on the entire animation, causing the feeling that it shouldn’t hit, maybe they will adress but I don’t know.

So the reason Wesker was kill switched yeah it's still happening numerous people have reported getting Wesker dash grabbed from other sides of pallets and objects still and I'm also still getting warp grabbed from a million miles aways as well just Killswitch him again and take more time to fix him devs.

Yeah this was insult to play him getting nothing when dashing into vaulting survivor, no hit or not even a vault so getting this like in the inside of shack was briliant.
Thing is now he kinda has messed up hitbox so he grabs even when there are objects and hits survivors way more further when they are behind window kinda feels like range attack more then slaping them when they are vaulting.
Still I hope they restore him to his stale state and make this hitbox on vaulting survivors work more than before where you didnt hit them when they vaulted into your face, I made post where I pointed this long time ago but it got just hate because wesker is fine.

Yes. I jumped vault a window, ran about 5 meters almost touching the other wall of the jungle gym, and Wesker extended the Uroburos all the way there, ALL THAT DISTANCE just to hit me lol

tentative fix = they tried and failed. The game is unfixable now, every update brings more bugs, the dev team is so trash. I can't believe how this game survives 10 years.
