Has anybody else received a random influx of successful report notifications recently?
I report suspicious players on occasion whether it be fishy legacy skins or gameplay that shouldn’t be possible like fast vaults with bad pathing, getting flashlight blinded when looking dead straight at a wall, silent flashbangs, etc. sometimes it’s just me being paranoid and coping with being outplayed lol. I just recently had 6 successful reports on people over the span of a month and it seems slightly odd because I’ve never seen so many at once. Is there any chance that the report system is bugged right now with the recent updates or are there actually this many people cheating right now?

the bans seem to happen in waves; a bunch of reddit posts popped up this week so a bunch of people just got punished.
staggering the bans helps make it harder to detect what part of the cheat is compromised

This only means that someone looked at the report. Not that it was a Ban. I got this information a day or two after I reported a lagswitching Wesker and this person played for at least a bit over a month. MAYBE they got banned right now, but this would have happened over a month after I got the ingame notification.
All we know is that it could also just be a member of support who checked all your tickets.

there is also some Special Ban Wave thats happened, maybe thats related as well, not sure if you get Info on any Account you reported regardless of why they got banned as Long as they got ‘flagged’ by you.
Otherwise, its strictly against Forum rules to ‘discuss’ Bans so This is walking on thin ice

Apparently people got banned for buying auric cells and accounts with dbd on websites. That's what I can think of
